Dear friend, please don't mistake me by replying to you, even you don't have onion , ghee, kasuri methi, ginger, green chilli, or any ingredients for preparing hotel style food, though it is taste to eat in the hotels or dhabas, I too a bachelor but i am son of former , please soak channa overnight and eat in the morning without any ingredients like salt or chlilli powder afterwards u won't feel to have lunch. My personal experience at same time don't feel that I am not having these and those. What personally observed is during and after COVID-19 most of the people are engaged in releasing their preaparation of foods through media. To earn 💰.

Thank you for your wonderful tips. My chana always used to become hard & dry even though they used to be soft after boiling. Now I know. If you add a tbsp of bareek rava or suji to the Puri dough, the puris will be less oily and every Puri will come out fooli-fooli.

I have made with baking soda,for extra softness। And after preparation use sweet tarmind chutney to eat as chat. In this way one can use it dry sabzi, wet sabzi and also as a chat.

One request. Watched video multiple times, but details on amount ingredients to be used is confusing. When boling water you mentioned water as 1:3 and took 1 cup of chana for cooking. So I multuplied all subsequent quantities you specified by 3, for all masals including amchoor as I used 3 cups of Soaked Chana. The receipt turned out to be very masaledar and khatta due to excessive Amchoor. Being Bhog, can't even dispose off. For all recipes, need to clearly mention amount of ingredients per gm or litre of main ingredient. Thanks.

To be on the safer side, always cook for the given quantity. Thereafter you can adjust the way you want to. Many time this happens with any recipe.
