Saw this lady late in 1968 when she appeared at Bristol’s Colston Hall. I wasn’t a fan but some friends that were going had a spare ticket and so I went. WOW! One voice and one guitar and she owned that stage. At the end of the show we screamed for more. I don’t know how many encores she did, until in the end her manager came on and said she had another concert in another city the next day and they had to go. I have attended many concerts since then, enjoyed them all, but never one to match that Julie Felix concert!
One of the greatest gifts we were given this beautiful, humane people to ever walk this world. Her music and passion are still giving now even beyond her own passing. God Bless you. Thank you for glorious music, and the gift of your voice and your stories. Rest peacefully. XXX 🎶🎵
Saw her singing at a private function in Nairobi in the late '70s. I had previously bought the very LP shown here in Scotland, so was thrilled to see her live. She was fabulous and sang all our requests.

Has never heard of her but was playing a Spotify play list based on Billi Jo Spears and Julie popped up singing Mr. Tambourine Man. So sad to have just heard a beautiful and original rendition of the song and then to learn that she passed away last year, as all we must. Julie, I hardly knew ya'.

I conspire that the guitarist and mandolin player on this is actually Martin Carthy and Dave Swarbrick. They were labelmates with Felix on Fontana Records. Can anyone back this up?
