Tried the sitting strat about 10times either randomly died b4 30min or got to the end but eventually got killed. Did this one on my first try and got read death! Especially satisfying playing as Poe my fav old man. Thx brother
Got him first try thanks to your method! Worked super easy. Most important were obviously Crimson Shroud and Infinite Corridor, I smacked his ass in 54 seconds with books and 3 birds though (the evolution and the 2 for the arcana). Thanks a lot!!
My husband has been trying this the stand still with the giant racer thing for almost a week. He was late to the party , didn't know about this game. I didn't either a couple of years ago when it came out. Now that it's picked up attraction a lot of people know about it he just picked it up like within The last 2 weeks maybe 2 1⁄2 weeks. It was a good thing because after his 1st like day or 2 of experimental running he was able to look online and TH-cam and find and see a lot of stuff that bumped him up immensely. Matter of fact he saw he didn't know about the coffins so he saw the 1st coffin, Mad Forest, figured that'll be the best easiest whatever and what not 1 to go after, went and got it and got Pugala ( I think that's the name or something similar to that Should I just look at the screen you got the character select screen up on this video.) with the guns which is freaking nuts. Kind of surprise that nobody really shows their best builds as being the guy with the double guns I guess because it limits the slots where they're gonna put upgrades and evolved items and passive or weapons. But I'm excited to see this video and tell him about it and see if we can get some of this going on part of the reason his standing in the library giant room tracer thing didn't work was he was missing some of the unlocks a lot of people have of different kinds to do that I don't remember what they were I think it was having more arcane pretty sure of it available.
TYVM - I was able to unlock him. I used a similar build with Poppea - but this video definitely inspired me to look into particular builds to take him down.
Amazing guide, got it on the first try. And it feels fair as you are only using the intended game mechanics, doesn't feel like you've cheated the system

Crimson shroud + infinite corridor is right now the best way to kill the Reaper. It is not RNG reliant, it does not need specific champions and anyone can do it.
This will work with any character. I’ll always recommend using why your comfortable with. Item wise as long as you get the laurel and the upgrades for it you can use whatever items you want new or old. Clock lancet is powerful for freezing death but not absolutely required.
This worked for me! I just tried it today, though I used Boon Marabio instead of old garlic guy It worked like a charm! The evolved shroud is critical to survive when Death inevitably escapes from the Time weapon, as he can one shot you It might be possible without the shroud if you stacked Revivals, including the Arcana that gives extra revives
Did you evolve the laurel? That reduces the damage the reaper does. You’ll also want to make sure your load out is doing damage. Evolved dagger, axe and fireball are pretty good for this
So maybe i missed it but what are the essential items i need to complete this? Do we have to try to get your exact loadout? And it sounded like you left those treasures there on purpose? Why?
sorry for the late response, not the loadout persay, but you do have to get the yellow sign so you can get the secret items to appear on the stage, then you just need to get the clock lancet, and laurel along with the gold/silver rign and the metaglio left/right to get the special evolutions, the other 4 items/passives you can get whatever you want, basically whatever will help you survive
ive tried this multiple times but i cant seem to upgrade anything fast enough i saw that you used the power up that makes enemies more powerful and i tried that but i kept dying to them any tips?
i think using a character you are comfortable with is important, but i really like poe and getting garlic up as soon as possible, also some passive items are way better then others, like increasing damage and attack rate is critical depending on your weapon choices
so the reroll powerup (from the main menu) grants two per rank, so level that up will give you ten, then silent old sanctuary (one of the arcanas) gives you 3 additional. I also have another video one how to collect a ton of golden eggs, which will randomly give you more reroll stats (but this will break a character so be careful following that video)
hmmm could be that you didn't take the right arcana, there is an arcana that will suck everything into the centre and you can then pick them up, if that;s what you are referring too
Not sure how to really do it. Best way to level quickly is to kill and collect gems, I’d recommend to make sure you are spending the gold you collect on the permanent upgrades, mainly movement speed, exp gain and damage. And there’s also a passive upgrade you can get, the crown, that gives you more exp. Another tip is to try not to move too much so the gems collect on the ground and eventually they’ll “merge” into a big gem that gives you a bunch of exp so collecting those tends to help level fast.
Unfortunately you’ll need it for this method. It’s not too difficult to acquire and honestly this method I think is more consistent than trying to do the no movement method. Hopefully you get it soon!
Thanks so much for this. Everyone on TH-cam and twitch keeps talking about the level 1 or 2 exploit but this one is actually way easier. I don’t understand why people would do the exploit when you can just do this. The exploit has a lot of room for error and things going wrong.
