Well, there's a slight bigger play field and out of bounds notes/trails So that's one thing that's separates FTR from BYD The difficulty also counts too
Should you really be surprised there are already PMs? Differences between FTR and BYD is that the play area where notes and arctaps can go increases, the normal area is more of a trapezoid, and the BYD is still a trapezoid but leaning more towards a rectangle. Arcs now spawn wherever they want without the need of a voidarc before them. There are also these things called timinggroups, it's hard to describe but if you notice in Vexaria BYD there are voidarcs that flash in and out even though the chart goes at a normal speed. I think the last difference is that the start of arcs and arctaps are sometimes fusioned, functioning like a click+drag kind of note instead of just drag.
people can pm songs an hour from release (i've done it more fsr, mahoraba, and badtek), and if you just memory boost/memory refill through the beyond chapter you can unlock byd diffs easily
