Aces introduction gave me goosebumps. Seven and Ace seems to be my favorite Doctor / Companion coupling, followed by the Cube (11 and the Ponds - though not when Rory is missing from the equation), 4 and Romana, 10 and Donna.
I love this story, particularly the speech at the beginning. I live the idea of the Time Lords presented here; much better than the Timeless Children or whatever that rubbish was called.
I mean, it's available on the new Shada DVD... (It was available on the old 1 too, but only as a CD-Rom. :) Hey, if anyone's interested, I'm reviewing all the Doctor Who stories on my channel, with me just having upload my review of: 'Frontier In Space (1973)!' No pressure, of-course; Just if you're interested! (Yes, I'm planning to do Big-Finish! :)
You can even watch it in it's original Flash form on the Doctor Who classic website. Just use a Flash enabled browser like IE. Same for Scream of the Shalka, but not Real Time. www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/webcasts/
This is a brilliant example of writing and voice acting overcoming animation, absolutely fantastic
interesting on how they depict the time lords, making them quite literally god like
Honestly with they kept them like this

whats remastered about this? it looks pretty much the same as the other first episode
The soundtrack is taken from the BBC audio CD giving it much improved sound.
Is this canon?
No, it's set in an alternative timeline where the Seventh Doctor never got to regenerate into the Eighth Doctor
@@DJAitch86 damn. I guess in Dr Who there can be infinite alternative universes. That's how time travel works.
