That was some lovely sounding Bristol Max, very well struck and a joy to listen to on probably the finest sounding bells in the world ( my humble opinion only) I got to ring at York Minster in 2000, just rounds on 12 but MAGNIFICIENT to ring and the sound is from heaven.
Ive been york minister, its on my channel, i heard it strike 12, but heard the carrilon. I wish i heard the bells ring but im not in york anymore:-( lol😂

Maybe it's because the tenor is a heavy bell and if you nod then the bell doesn't jump or easier to ring
some people have different ways of keeping in rythym. This is the way Tim does it! It certainly works as he is an excellent ringer!
ahh i used to love watching the Sallys disappear in the ceiling when i would sit in and watch my parents ring at my local church aged 5

it`s difficult to get these for peals unless you are a known 12 bell ringer but it is understandable as they are heavy and glorious bells.
