For anyone watching, a Perfectly Inelastic Collision is when the Maximum amount of Kinetic Energy is Lost; hence why it's Perfectly Inelastic

If max kinetic energy is lost then how can two things that stick together carry on moving? wouldn't a perfectly inelastic collision imply the velocity after is 0?

hey im from malaysia doing cambridge A level. some of your videos from "A Level Physics Online - Year 13" i couldnt access. i dont mind to pay since your videos are all in top notch quality. Is there any way around to watch your paid videos?? tq!

I have one, it's on my paid channel and you can find it in the astrophysics playlist. Which exam board is it you're studying?

Is the KE not conserved in a perfectly inelastic collision as well then?

In the context of a common momentum question like two rail cars colliding, if after the collision they were moving at the same velocity as each other, would that be considered a perfectly inelastic collision?

whats the difference between inelastic collision and perfectly inelastic collision i didnt rlly get that part

In a perfectly inelastic collision the two bodies stay together after the collision.

I am doing cie syllabus.I'm just wondering if it's basically the same topics?

Pretty much - every A Level course has the same core concepts, its only in the second year of study at the very end where there a few differences.
