This is a misunderstanding. People who bought the token can play the game, but they still own the token which they can resell, currently for around $3k. You buy in to the ecosystem and it ought to deliver. It's not like purchasing food with dollar that you then consume, it's rather buying a liquid asset, say like Canadian dollars, for USD. Or like a house, in that you can also resell it. But while we can draw comparisons, it's also neither of those two things. It comes with a promise like buying a concert ticket or a news paper or netflix subscription. Except that there's also asset exchanges that none of the creators need to manage themselves. It's little in itself, but needs context.

well yeah i mean hes really ill informed and mostly everything hes said in this video is nonsense, apes are worth 130k US, they dipped to about 70k at one point and are up quite a bit if you bought the dip. The entire package of all the free stuff you got airdropped is worth another 120k ish so a quarter mill for the entire package. The sewer passes were also free and they only cost 3100 cuz thts the secondary price, high demand. Thats the cool thing about nfts, if you dont want to play or your not interested you can always sell your assets to others who are vs with traditional video games its really difficult, most stuff is locked in game, and theres no way to truly verify the ownership of digital assets, nfts give you that possibility of true digital verification
