I don’t play CS someone explain why you can’t just throw a smoke on the ground, seems large enough to do the same thing no? Cuz every time I wanna pass big doors I gotta focus on where I throw the smoke.

No if you throw it onto ground it wont cover upper part of the doors so people mid can see people on short

Put the smoke on the box. Issue solved. You just have to use your brain.

Some smokes are better because they leave a bit more space. At higher elos, players will take advantage of the plain xbox smoke to get into lower tunnels in certain situations.
