Hi. Enjoyed the review. Im looking to toss a telescopic rod in my backpack when Mountain biking. Im not targeting any specific fish but would mostly be offshore at lake winnebago throwing rapallas or bass baits or spoons for whatever will bite. Would the kingswell be the way to go? Thanks!
Thanks for checking it out! I think so! I just used it for floating down a local river to catch smallmouth and anything else that would bite and I keep it under the seat of my truck so I always have a fishing pole to grab
Yeah all of these rods and reels are probably a little big for a big out bag… but I’d still try to get one of the spinning rods and reels stuff in it! No better way to spend the end of the world than fishing! 😂🤣😂
The Kingswell would be your best bet for salmon… but from the little I know about salmon fishing I don’t think I would want any of these rods unless they’re small salmon
@@YBGAnglers thanks for the reply! Do you think there's anything else on the market that might work? That's what's out where I’m at and I’m a trucker so portability is a must
Daiwa bbb 6106tmlfs peird up with a shimano stradic 2500fl. It is a premium fast action rod and a pleasure to use but I have snapped mine casting a lure within the weight limit, so sent back and waiting on a replacement as it has a years warranty. I also have the black hawk 2, good rod for the price but not a patch on the bbb.
I just got my blackhawk 2 in yesterday and 2 of the guides r loose its difficukt to close and the number they give u to call the warranty company dosen't answer. don't waste to money
Ugly stick GX two travel rod was disappointing to me and broke on two of my friends. Separate occasions. Not only that but when you have to break the rod into pieces, you have to cut your hook or Luer off telescoping rods. It’s easier to keep everything together I just don’t understand why ugly stick doesn’t make a good telescoping travel rod with a bait, casting reel. And why is it that all bait casting reels by the fart are left handed? But to order or right handed bait, casting reel they are labeled as left-handed? You should be able to cast with your dominant hand and real with the other without switching hands every time WTF is wrong with people?
Like the Daiwa and Ozark trail telescope rod just got the Sougayilang 240 seam to be medium heavy power fast Action carbon fiber mix but work great for big lures 1/2 oz to 1 3/8 oz with no problem the rod has no ratings on it only the name and lanth of it ⁉️ come on China on extra steps on a sticker to do damnit

thx
You’re welcome!
telescopic is cool when you ride bikes. A15footer does not work well on a bike. Trust me I knew it was gonna go bad but yet I did it. It did go bad.
Oh dang! I can only imagine hah!
Lmao same. Trying to juggle a fishing bag, backpack, and pole sticking out of the backpack is a good way to to hurt yourself and your equipment.
Mine hit a tree branch and the tip snapped, I shouldn't have tested my luck 😂
Perfect for jetski or I'm going hope. Going try thr bass pro one. Thanks
I hadn’t thought of that! Let me know how it works out for you!

I’ve been using my eagle claw telescopic 5’6 rod for a while now and I’ve caught some really nice bass up to 2 -4 pounds
Sweet! Glad it’s working out for you!
Thanks man. Appreciate the info!!
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
Great video 👍🏻
Would have been better if you included the rods' Material, Power and Action.
Thanks for the recommendation! That is a great idea!
Ypu gotta consider whats best to carry in a "bug out" bag. Something you can pack away for an emergency.

Can use same telescope rod and for spinning and for casting?
A spinning rod and casting rod are different and require different reels but you can cast both.
Would you say the kingswell is good for trout? Or is it too heavy?
If I was in a pinch I would use it for trout but I’d prefer something a little lighter.
Question! Are you a fan of ugly sticks gx2 travel spinner? And if yes would you take that over a telescopic rod?
I’ve never used it so I have no clue…sorry!
Great Quality from an old company
Hi can you float fish with a telescopic rod
I’m not sure what you mean by float fish?
Which one can handle salmon?
The Kingswell would be your best bet for salmon… but from the little I know about salmon fishing I don’t think I would want any of these rods unless they’re small salmon

Have you tried the Daiwa Triple B or the KastKing Blackhawk 2?
I have not… should I?
@@YBGAnglers definitely.
@@sxshethean3069 Will do! Thanks for the recommendation

I'm just looking for a rod I can put in my backpack lol
I really like the Kingswell and it should fit in most backpacks!

When in doubt get a daiwa
Haha I haven’t always had the best luck with Daiwa
ALL TALK, NO SHOW.... BAD VIDEO
No need to be a jerk.
GREAT VIDEO.
