Good teams will pound us if this is not taken care of. The OL doing good, but needs to give Sam more time, and not let him get hit. The OL really needs to improve on the run blocking, so our backs have some kind of hole as 1 yard stuffs do nothing for the offense….. The Vikes are off to a good start, but we have been here before. After this many games, there is plenty of tape for other teams to pour over, so we will need to make some subtle changes here and there, add new plays etc to throw them off. Special teams has had a rough time, and I would guess their coach will light a fire there hopefully……. I do not think we can stand pat here, but we have one Hell of a team here so let’s go for it!!!!!!❤

This will suck if Flores leaves at end of season. We finally got all the players needed for his defense. Now NOONE has a defensive scheme like that but him. We would certainly have to regroup our players to fit another defensive scheme for the next Coordinator. Certainly would mean Harrison Smith will be done. If Flores stays I think Smith could play another year not learn a new defense
Darnold is injuring himself…. Watch the jets game , on almost every hit he took - there was a WIDE OPEN under , he kept tryna FORCE the ball to JJ & paid for it ….. Still our guy , but he has to work on releasing the ball faster
Our O-line needs reinforcements. It is our biggest weakness. That and depth at rb. I thought as the ball bounced through thebuprights on that 58nyard fg attempt by Reichard that the curse was then removed. Go Vikes!!! SKOL!!!!!!!
I think that hit in the first half affected Darnold he seemed to hold his hand a fair bit and don't really take the second half missed throws too seriously
It just didn’t feel like the ball was being forced to Jefferson, it absolutely was being forced. The Jets had a decent game plan to try to stop the superior WR talent on the Vikings with the Jets DB’s getting over aggressive with the hands, and the Viking kept trying to force it into this coverage on the outside & deep! The Vikings got a lot of calls, but if they didn’t get a call they came away with nothing. This would have been a game where TJ would have had a monster performance on the inside because they ere trying to take away the outside & deep routes!
I agree with you on the trade deadline, I don't agree that it should be on Defense. It needs to be another back that can break loose like A.J. when he went down the offense was different.
If we can get an IMPACT PLAYER for our interior DEFENSIVE LINE, we will be an awesome defense!!! We NEED another big body besides Harrison Phillips! S💜K💜O💜L

These past 2 yrs everyone has dealt with an astronomical ammount of injuries. Then for 2 yrs we dealt with bad reffing it sounds like a cyclical thing, ya think?
The best defense in NFL history is a ridiculous statement, as I don’t think they will come close to the 85’ Bears. They shouldn’t make any move until after the Detroit game. If they win that and are 6-0, then they should go all in to make a run for the Super Bowl. Those of us who aren’t new to following the Vikings can point to two 5-0/6-0 stretches that completely reversed course in the past 8 years, and that could happen this time as well. It does however feel different as they have beaten 3 solid playoff teams from last season and after the Detroit game they are heading into an easier part of the season. We all remember two years ago with all the hype around double digit one score victories against lousy teams accept for the 49ers only to get destroyed by the Giants at home!

With the owners being billionaires and there is no cap on coaching salaries why wouldn’t the Vikings ownership step up and pay Flores like a head coach with a guaranteed contract and then he might decide to stay with something he built. Why would someone leave for the same amount of money and a ton more stress & responsibility? Also, he is a young guy so if it does eventually fall apart, he could make the jump at that time and would be further removed from the Miami chaos!

This will suck if Flores leaves at end of season. We finally got all the players needed for his defense. Now NOONE has a defensive scheme like that but him. If a quality guard comes available at the trade deadline, that's what I would do. The defense is already there.
