Not to be rude, but you need to find someone else to take your videos. The whole clip is jumping around or watching a metal bar for 10 seconds. I was looking for a cable that snapped. So please tell him to watch the video before he puts it on the internet.

Dammit this video isn't titled correctly at all - this isn't a broken regulator cable repair, the cable isn't even broken! Looks like the cable block busted (all too common) so one side of the cable is just sitting loose. I'm dealing with that exact situation right now so I was looking for vids on how to *actually* repair the stupid thing - which is not shown here.
This video is an install/replace of a brand new regulator assembly - and there's a thousand videos about this already, dammit..

Sorry to gripe like that but I've just spent the last few hours reading through forum threads and watching vid after vid trying to get this crap figured out and I wouldn't have had to sit through over 5 minutes of your vid (right where it becomes apparent you're simply replacing the unit) if it had been titled appropriately.
Time is precious - time is of the essence - time is not however, on my side. That's my issue though.
Pretty simple to edit that title on your end though - swap out that "repair" for a "replace" - it might save someone else a bit of time somewhere down the line, knowudimsayin...
Thanks for wasting my time also...and...you soent the first half of your show yacking about stuff we already knew....next time get working and quit screwin around! I already knew how to replace the darn thing, but, the end of my cable came off somewhere(not broke) and this just wasted my time so hopefully ur wasting ur time reading this crap 😂

if it is just a cable problem like tangled, bent or broken cable you can still fix it. open up the cable spool attached to the motor, and remember the orientation of the cable. i bought a bicycle mechanical brake cable as replacement, they have almost same thickness as most window cables and you can buy those crimp-on thingies at the end of the cable. a very cheap alternative if you have the patience.

Hey. With the cable broken, were you able to move the window up and down freely to access the bolts that holds the window to the regulator? Thanks

Try to get new cable, otherwise just new regulator. You could also just tie the cable so the window stays shut until you can find a solution you like.
