Big up the pod as always, great content from you Sheroy! I think it’s time we as fans come to terms that not only are we a really good side, we’re also now a very professional side! And I think professional is the best way to describe the game yesterday. We let them play in the areas we wanted them to and as soon as they got into territory we didn’t like we were on them and won the ball back, we’re playing conservative football on our terms and building a strong foundation to put us in a position to challenge for trophies in the second half of the season. We also saw glimpses of the gears we can move up to should we require! These performances to me are the most satisfying because they display, maturity, discipline, authority, intelligence and ruthlessness. We have a really special manager who now has a special team that allow him to flex his tactical ability, in the words of Meek Mill, “I used to pray for times like this”

Another great video Sheroy! On the Jesus' subject, I rarely watch the full games, but I happened to watch the PSG one and it seemed weird to me how "selfish" he seemed. Don't get me wrong, I understand the frustration he must have, brought in as a starter and relegated to bench due to injuries, but if an already not prolific striker "wastes" even more chances due to "selfishness" instead of assisting, wouldn't that be potentially worse? I'm no expert of course, just my thoughts on the subject. What's your opinion?
I genuinely think it’s desperation to make an impact and remind everyone of what he is capable of, but as you say, when it doesn’t come off it ends up being counterproductive!
Speaking of Gabriel Jesus, I saw on the bench cam against Leicester City when we went 3-2 up everyone was going nuts apart from Jesus. i already said that calafiori is not pefect for our LB, he is too slow even saliba and gabriel maghalaes more faster than calafiori, every pacey winger will cooked calafiori so bad when 1 vs 1 lets be real and this is not about "oh he just play 4 games, he will fine if he get more minute play" LOL LMAOOO this is not about minute play more like this is about calafiori weakness, there is no way minute play can fix his weakness except somehow he increase his speed from training which i dont know how people can increase their speed especially at 20yo++ because that will take a lot time, so for me calafiori better at CB or at LCM, why LCM ?? because calafiori so good going forward by carry ball and have good passing range even he can score outside box.

Nah, it is a great result. But a real statement would have been to dominate possession (they had more), restrict them to virtually zero shots (they had more than us) and to win 4-0 with a high xG. That would be a statement. This is NOT the PSG that reached the UCL final a long way short of that. I go on a lot of French channels and they are very depressed and not just by this defeat. Yes we were professional disciplined. I want to see us rip teams apart and pepper their goal with high xG chances. Parking the bus will only go so far
Possession is a beyond meaningless statistic. Shots taken is meaningless. xG is more representative but ultimately an incredibly flawed metric. Stop using stats as a crutch, it's only going to hurt your understanding of the game. Stats are only useful if you 1) actually understand them & what they mean 2) have a firm grasp of the game independent of stats.
