Dilophosaur Dusk is such a great track! Really great use of sound. It’s really captured that sense of ‘something being present , but unseen’ that the original film did so well.
I love the mechanical sounds that are in some of the tracks like the helicopter and the broken PA system in Brachiosaurus Chorus. Adds to the sense of a crazy dream slipping into a forgotten, or perhaps more aptly, lost world. Edit: I am so glad to hear that hooting sort of sound for the adult Dilo's.
I am rereading Jurassic Park again, I have the window open tonight and this blends so seamlessly with the wildlife outside that it is almost eerie. So incredibly cool, makes this time reading a lot more fun.

Stegosaurus! The young Tyrannosaur! The Bird Cage; very eery & a bit terrifying as well. *AH! You did include the bullfrog intro for Dilophosaur Dusk.* Well, thank you for that neat touch. All the other dinos we don't hear often enough, very nice. You must have spared *no expense.* After careful consideration, I have decided.. to endorse your park!
I havent made ASMR before (but I do love video/audio editing) but these are by far the best ambience for Jurassic park. All the others seem to just over do the sound effects, yours sound more like you are plonked in a various area of the island and certain dinosaurs just happen to be nearby. Only thing I would say, what would make them perfect for me, is when you have 2 dinosaurs fighting (like spino and Rex) instead of just having the sounds play out as in the movie, like the roars and stuff, maybe mix it up a little. So you hear can hear distant trees taking an impact as one goes tumbling into it. Branches crunching too. So you hear a ruckus of the environment. That’s basically the only thing I’d say. It surprisingly helps me sleep coz I just get sucked away. Your jungle ambience is so good and you use sounds sparingly and don’t just leave on repeat. Dunno why your Isla Sorna and Nublar don’t have more views they are easily the best ones for atmosphere imo.
@@FossilBox totally, frontier have a really good sound design team for Elite dangerous, but personally they failed with the background ambience in others like JWE. Get in touch with them! Email won't hurt.
I think one detail that would make these amazing ambiences even better, is if insects/other animals went silent before the predator animals arrived. Recently reread the first Jurassic Park, and it’s a detail included in the narration surrounding the Jouvenile rex. The cicadas and all other forest sounds drop silent.
@@vincentprice5042 So true! I actually did take that into consideration and observed insect sounds in nature based on similar stimuli, like a car starting. I didn't observe most bugs fall silent except crickets, and crickets would then start back up again shortly after the threat moved past. I REALLY would love to make it fall totally silent like the book says, but the room tone of the sound really doesn't make sense when I tried to do that. In order to do so, I'd have to have every individual insect on a separate track to make it sound believable. Plus, most of the time the animals are at a distance, so localized bugs falling silent wouldn't be noticed. BUT! I at least did try to make some crickets pause when things like raptors would step particularly close. But I love where your head is at!

I think specifically in Isla Sorna, when the flies grow louder and louder as the Tyrannosaurus approaches, as if taking a cloud of flies wherever it goes. Then bugs and birds stopped for the rain, which is true to life. Or the raptors' growing anticipation for the t-rex's approach, and then the t-rex beetailing it back to its infant. It made me gasp out loud when I first heard the work you put into it, lol.
