Saying Messi doesn't run much isn't the complete picture. In his younger days he was very hard working for the team. Now I'd say he has adapted and is working smarter not harder.
I mean.. he can walk and come alive for a moment coz everytime he touches the ball, he impacts the game. I’ve never seen any player do that kind of thing.
Thats roughly half the distance each player would normally cover in a premier league match. Was watching the stats a while back and players were usually around the 7-9km mark I think. Shows just how efficient he is!
Unfortunately this causes amateurs imitate him, but since they have no actual idea what theyre doing, they actually just walk around and think that since they play like messi, they are the most valuable player on the field.
I think it's actually much more simple, if you are a small player, you can be either explosive or dynamic, if you run alot you lose your explosive spead ( first 3 steps) that is crucial for driblers like Messi, you can't be both explosive and dynamic, as example Arshavin when he came to Arsenal was wery explosive, and played great while not running alot, but when Wenger asked him to run like a vinger he lost his acceleration, and as a result ruined his career.
just about the only criticism one could ever make about messi in his career is how infuriating it was that he refused to so much as consider backtracking. even in his youth where you’d think someone would have the energy to do it he would be blowing bubbles on his half of the pitch instead. but it probably extended his career a good bit so i’d say it’s a fair trade off.
He was back tracking in a very high level in his teens, probably up till age 22. But, the stamina was not there and Barca used to be of the best pressing teams in the world. Once he took his skill set to the next level, priorities had to be changed, Pep knew it, Cruyff said it. It's just how it goes, every time he has position of the ball, he's sharp and that's when it all pays off. He's the most decorated player in the history of the sport, and there's like 5 teammates along side him, so it was worth it.
You cannot deny that this man is an absolute legend and one of the players of all time. But I dislike his way how he plays. I admit that I didn’t watch him play everytime, mostly only in champions league matches. But it always looks like he is playing on his own as soon as he got the ball. Which fortunately ended up in a goal most of the times but I don’t know just standing in the other half of the field only waiting for someone to pass the ball to him is the point which makes me dislike this player. I’m not a Ronaldo fanboy, I’m just watching football and that’s all. I wished for him to be more of a teamplayer and not just walking around. Regardless, no one will ever break his records and he achieved everything in football. Goat.
…but he doesn’t run after the best position in order to initiate the attack… he waits for the position to arrive by itself to where he is standing .. then he activates and start moving.. genius..

this is why hes the goat
Nuh uh Ronaldo is the goat. Ronaldo is WAYYY better 🐐🐐🐐🐐
Saying Messi doesn't run much isn't the complete picture. In his younger days he was very hard working for the team. Now I'd say he has adapted and is working smarter not harder.
I mean.. he can walk and come alive for a moment coz everytime he touches the ball, he impacts the game.
I’ve never seen any player do that kind of thing.
the chill when he's start running in the empty space 🥶
Pls make a detailed analysis of Messi
I actually learned this tactic. It made me a lot a better on the pitch
Thats roughly half the distance each player would normally cover in a premier league match. Was watching the stats a while back and players were usually around the 7-9km mark I think. Shows just how efficient he is!
One word, GOAT..
Nuh uh. Ronaldo is better. Ronaldo is the REAL goat 🐐🐐🐐🐐
Bro took the advice of blue lock “create your scoring formula” and isagi’s awareness to heart💀
Meanwhile Ankara Messi be like:💀💀💀
Hes talking about off the ball..
Idk what’s better, the fact that Messi has blue lock meta vision or the transition
Oppent defender:What you doin
Messi: Dont mind me just watching
If Isagi isn't based off Messi, then I'm not accepting reality
Messi read blue lock and was like, let's try this meta vision thingy
@@Destnylol💀💀
I think he is based on Thomas Müller
@@goddid95 nope the creator confirmed he's based on a Japanese footballer
He’s based on inzahgi, the name, everything, it’s so similar.
Messi nah it's isagi
Looking back i was forced into the PlayStation vs xbox debate. Nike vs adidas. Messi vs Ronaldo etc.
Theyre both just phenomenal to watch

“Just 22 guys running after a ball”
I just learned that this is not a normal thing to do. I've been doing this for years.
Unfortunately this causes amateurs imitate him, but since they have no actual idea what theyre doing, they actually just walk around and think that since they play like messi, they are the most valuable player on the field.
Amateurs can't play 10 or False 9.
@@NateT3 what do you mean. Like it is obvius that an amateur doesnt know how to play it, but in an amateur club that really doesent affect anything.
Just as Rooney described him

The perfect loop doesn’t exi-
I think it's actually much more simple, if you are a small player, you can be either explosive or dynamic, if you run alot you lose your explosive spead ( first 3 steps) that is crucial for driblers like Messi, you can't be both explosive and dynamic, as example Arshavin when he came to Arsenal was wery explosive, and played great while not running alot, but when Wenger asked him to run like a vinger he lost his acceleration, and as a result ruined his career.
the smoothest transition dosent exis-
just about the only criticism one could ever make about messi in his career is how infuriating it was that he refused to so much as consider backtracking. even in his youth where you’d think someone would have the energy to do it he would be blowing bubbles on his half of the pitch instead. but it probably extended his career a good bit so i’d say it’s a fair trade off.
@@bensten505
He's not most decorated but ok his pr misinformed you

Goat.
…but he doesn’t run after the best position in order to initiate the attack… he waits for the position to arrive by itself to where he is standing .. then he activates and start moving.. genius..
Van Gaal: Messi won 2022 World Cup because he has Artificial Intelligence Chip in his brain and controlled by NASA and CIA 🤣🤣
Messi young always run.. thats why world know him ..since time everything change
Isagi is literally Messi
So basically he downloads the map.
