The content credentials feature is vaguely interesting; but the killer feature of the M11 is the sensor - it's phenomenal. Combine the spec of this camera with its premium build quality and you won't need another digital camera for a very long time. Happy shooting!
Oh boy, I‘ve just recently got my Q3 and so far I’m loving it. But I’m afraid, that this will also start my journey into the Leica world. Leica does the right thing by adding the content authenticity feature and I believe that many other renown brands will follow in 2024.
Yeah you have been bitten by the Leica bug. But I will say some like the Q and stay there, the M is another thing on its own. Happy shooting. Thank you for watching.
Great video Jay. Getting my silver M11P on Monday. I have a lot of questions regarding the Content Authenticity efficacy. I’m Digging into it as it sounds a step forward into intellectual property ownership.
A lot of non Leica fans always talk about the M system in particular being expensive. Well this is an example why., Internal memory and anti counterfeit capabilities. It's not only the cost of technique but also the research and development, same for the lenses. I love the P versions of the camera. I had a Q P but I swapped it for a Q3 but if there would be a Q3 P Inwould have gone for that one. Thanks for sharing
@@RS-Amsterdam I never understood what the “M experience was” until I started shooting with my own M. Now I can say that if I would have to keep just one single camera that would be the M11 (and the M6 😂) over the rest of my bodies. Shooting manual focus makes every picture a personal matter.
@@RS-Amsterdam I agree wholeheartedly. I remember an interview where Dr. Andres’s Kufmann’s talked about the effort (Money, R&D, knowledge, willingness) it took Leica to go from 80% optical perfection to 90% optical perfection and that description was impressive.
@@jayespinal Go the M11P as awesome as the M11 😁 One thing I noticed was a different shutter sound- Louder actually and snappier. I wanted to M11 color bodies so the M11P was a no brainer.

Wonderful video. Thank you.
Our pleasure!
I'd like you to address the MAGENTA color cast on the sensor.
@mauiflyingdress2178 adjust -5 to -30 in Tint and you will be good. I shoot in B&W so its not an issue for me. Thank you for watching.

@GastonShutters I agree, it's gonna be a game changer for transparency and IP if it reaches wide adaptation.
