Type 73 standard utility vehicle of the Japan Ground Self-Defence Force (JGSDF). Mitsubishi Pajero Fieldmaster 4M40 2.8L Turbo Diesel 4x4 A/T and chassis and suspension system. Recon Patrol Variant is open top with various weapon system mounted on the roll bar eg: 7.62mm LMG, 50 cal. HMG, 40mm Auto Grenade launcher, Anti-Tank missile system.
Japan issued is Right-Hand drive.

Mitsubishi should produce this vehicle for the civilian market. It looks like a high quality no non sense reliable vehicle. Sort of an upscale somewhat bigger Suzuki Jimny.
This would be a hit in the market, specially if sold at a good price (20.000 - 30.000 USD).
