Thats why I showed 2 builds insread if the originally planned harbinger build. Necro skills are great for crowd control and do ok damage. After testing harbinger build I realized it was slightly better than any necro build. Necros is still a lot of fun though :)
Hey man, I just got Darksiders II since it was free on Xbox Live and WHEW I am loving it. The video had some well-calculated and experienced tips I never would have thought of. Appreciate the video! Keep up the good work. Happy Gaming!
Youre definiftely right..relics are key when thinking about tackling the last few waves of crucible. I just didnt want to make a video of max everything because I feel it wouldnt be realistic for new players or those just starting new game plus (even if they did get all the relics they would still be a lower level)
that wasn't 3.8 million. that was two attacks hitting at the same time. one did about 3800 while the other did about 5000. teleport slash hits the enemy with both scythes.
Thanks alot. This is great, so many people just film themselves playing, you are providing a useful service. AWESOME! I don't like this game too much in comparison to Darksiders 1, so I really just want to beat it, not do many sidequests, and this build help should get me through the rest of Apocalyptic( at least I hope)
You know, in Deathnitive edition, in theory you can get up to 63~ skill point in new game+ (with some bug/glitch). 29 Skill point from leveling up, 10 from the relic quest(5 from new game and 5 from new game+), 4 from all the tomb but use the soul splitter skill and you will get 3 instead of 1, so 12. Do it in new game and new game+.So , 29+10+24=63 skill point.
Good evening, I started the game a few weeks ago,im lvl 22 and i almost finished my first round of it and i already finished leveling up all my harbringer tree plus I took aegis guard and aomw extra stuff from the necro tree. Also ingame you are going to find a bunch of chests which give you skill points. I wiuld have taken more if I didint open the first tombs without the soul splitter. So I think i might be able to finish it all in my new game+ ij the next few days.
I just wanted to thank you so much for making this video ! Been looking for a detailed breakdown of the skills & didn't have any luck until now. The video is very informative & helpful. On a side note, can you share your opinion on what would be the ideal 'balanced build'. Which parts of the skill tree need to be maxed out and which could be ignored to strike a nice balance ? I am on my first playthrough and still low level, but would really like to use the best of both 'worlds' !
Love the video. Just got the game Friday and just like the first one i am loving it. I was watching some of your videos before i got it. My question for you is, is that Harbinger build you showed good for any difficulty? Im level 13 right now.
Necromancer for early gameplay. Harbinger is much harder early game but you'll pretty much faceroll everything later on; I even facerolled Wicked K using Harbinger build lol.
from what I tried in Darksiders 2 you actually feel like you are doing Huge DPS in Harbinger class however in Truth the Necromancer Tree does Insane amounts of DPS if you have enough Arcane I mean you can kill the Deposed King in 3 seconds using the final skill in necro tree but that does not mean Harbinger is bad its better if you want to do a decent amounts of dammage while being able to sustain dammage done to you .
Is there a possibility to build a "Reaper" Build based on Harvester? And having TS or UnS as a backup? I just started the game, so I don't know much about the tree system. But Reaper Mode is quite awesome IMO, and you cover a wide attack range/radius besides the STR and ATK bonuses...
thanks for doing this. I have been trying to figure out what the best course of build i should go with. It would seem that the harbinger skill offers a lot more when youre not using assistance i.e. the ghouls or crows based on your video.
Im @ lvl 30 and I nd some adjusting advice from u. what type of weapons should I use? also Im equipped mostly juggernaut and abyssal armor piece and 2 pieces gives me health regen and wrath regen with lightning damage. generally what powers and weapons would u suggest?
Ur so good at explaining not well known for you tubers that do this type of games but I have a hard time finding possessed weapons any tips on where I can find some I'm currently level 28 on my new game plus.
On my new game+, i used Guillotine scythes and achidna's fangs, armour i dont actually remember, some mix of arcane, wrath per kill and shit, skill tree i had, all the dash shit on 3, aegis gaurd all on 3 and the same for ghouls, finally i think i used the Grim tailismen, using the reaper form every 4-5 rounds which was helpful for some of the dick rounds .. Crucible is a peice of cake =)
just leveled up and got access to murder. purchased it with my skill point and when i hold LB all i am getting is my ghoul raise skill...anyone know if this is a glitch or do i have to map it or? really confused and frustrated because i was looking forward to this skill
Max out Teleport Slash and Death Blossom, skip the 2 left skills and only put a filler point in the ones between. Max out the Unstoppable except for 1 point in Call of the Grave and skip Killing Blow. Max out Harvest and Trauma and you're done for lvl 21. You won't need any of the +crit chance if you slap +crit on your weapon and get a crit talisman. Get some nice strength and +crit damage gear instead. Put Wrath Steal/Life Steal on your weapon and forget about regen, it's bad.
So how do you get health steal on a possessed weapon? Cuz I was just messing around and combined some weapons and came across health steal but didnt add it cuz i didnt know what it did, but the weapons I sacrificed didnt have health steal.?
the harbringer build is bad :S get unstoppable, harvest with the two first upgrades, lichspines, hp steal main weps and with the left points go ghouls-charge-shield what ever suits you.And with unstoppable active you will start to see the 10k crits from harvest
I use both sides, harvenger side I went with using the reaper and unstopable, necro I went with ghouls and shield id say in terms of health regen I I just use my weapons that does great health regen and wrath :)
i am playing on apocalyptic and i am level 20 now...i haven't found any health steal or wrath steal item so far.So i can not put those enchantments on my weapon.Any suggestions? thanks.
well i got 3x 15-25% wrath steal weps ready to use on a lvl 30 possesed soon atm lvl 27 at stage 65 in the crucible also got 2x health steal 15-20% but i am trying to gear myself up my 1st play i went full harbinger now on my 3rd play going full necro
I personally prefer to use ghouls, unstoppable and teleport slash. Just fun to pop ghouls, unstoppable, get some wrath and just destroy shit. By the time my ghouls explode, most enemies are dead.
How do u get that much Hp back?Im playin Apoca Crucible on lvl 85 and its alrdy kinda hard. Im full Harbringer and the rest is in Aegis (Only 3 points yet, ive got 43 Skillpoints after all). Im doin like 3k-5k every hit (ive got alot of %crit and % critdmg) but I just keep alive with Teleportslash all the time. U just hit them and boom->Full hp;o I only know items with ,,Hp on Crit". Can you / anybody help me out here?I also got Items like the devil ect. How can I use them? Or are their passive?
hey why dont you go for harvest ? you get lot of crit chance and 20 % dmg boost for every enemy hit and that can be lot of dmg :-D and you can still have your teleport slash with wrath regen but lower dmg output, and you might have bigger dmg output in overall :-D
The most overpowered build is only obtainable through cheating on PC. Gives you full Harbringer and Necromancer skills at max level upgradability. For the equipment as well, you can modify your attributes and give the max possible number and the effect of your choice. I did it, and now think I'm literally too OP.
This video could be better if you didn't level Aegis. You won't or shouldn't be getting hit for that to even be useful on top of the fact it isn't worth it.
Teleport slash is really only effective up against the bigger foes in crucible, Frenzy is better in every way. I was doing 15-20k crits with Frenzy at level 22.
Being outclassed is no biggie either, DS2 is a simple game. I beat gorewood when I was level 2 apocalyptic so I was outclassed by 8 levels and still he fell like a rock, no biggie, its just all about strategy. I also beat crucible wave 1 to 15 in apocalyptic mode at level 13 with everything outclassing me more than 5 levels up... again, no big deal, anyone can do it, no need to make apocalyptic mode sound that tough.
ManufacturedOpinionn Hey dude, I really need your help with this kind of stuff. I can't find any possessed weapons and Vulgrim isn't selling the legacy box so I have no idea what to do please help if you ever see this
He pronounced it correctly. It's just in English that he didn't pronounce it correctly, but then again, in English, "sans" (French for "without") isn't pronounced correctly either.
The harbinger and the necromancer build both suck. Harvest, teleport slash, exhume, and frenzy, for me, is more effective than anything else. Aegis guard and unstoppable both have a limit, and they last a limited time, too limited for my liking. You need a possessed weapon with a high crit chance, and a health on crit effect, with a fast secondary, high crit chance, and wrath on crit. From that point, it's gravy.
man i bet you didnt try the game in nightmare mod you can play in in nightmare mod in "new game+" without aegis guard or unstoppable your dead from bugs cause they can hit 870 and pierce your defense in other words everything in the game matters unless your being a noob and playing the game in easy mode
He is not correct. Aegis is an ancient Greek word. his ''ee-jis'' is his Westernized pronounciation, most likely American English. It's '' e-gis ''. With a short e , the g is pronounced as the word gay/egg and the s is also short. Thank you for the video, good day.
he already said on the comments that he thought it was at first glance. just because he thought he was doing massive dmg like 3.8million doesn't make him a noob, you should really think before you say some impulsive shit and not to mention why did you even watch this video in the first place.. if your just gonna rant and call him a noob and not know anything about this game. its like your saying you know this game better than anybody here smh.
Is messed up that they only gave us 1 new game plus =) I beat the crap out of the crusible with lv30 Death and damn i'm way way too overpowered... They need to bring a patch where you can like get whatever NG+ cause damn it seems like the game just died on me after 230 hours
Thanks still helping players out 8 years later
Youre definiftely right..relics are key when thinking about tackling the last few waves of crucible. Crows and Harvest is a good combination for Chaos Form, it's really good when you are against many ennemies.
haha sorry Guillotine I meant not executioner's scythes.
Pretty awesome stuff, should be starting a run through of this game soon.
I just wanted to thank you so much for making this video ! Been looking for a detailed breakdown of the skills & didn't have any luck until now. The video is very informative & helpful. health steal and wrath steal on your weapon is all you need to finish crusible from beginning to end.
I have 100% arcane critical chance and my crows do 7,000 damage and my ghouls just dominate everything but i got my money on the necro build
thanks for doing this. I have been trying to figure out what the best course of build i should go with. It would seem that the harbinger skill offers a lot more when youre not using assistance i.e. the ghouls or crows based on your video.
I said million...before I realized it was overlapping
Apart from these points, still, a good video guide for DS2 players, kudos to that. :)
In new game, we keep our item ?
( Weapon, skill )
yes
health steal. nuff said. best enchantment ever
that's the only thing that makes sense..but it definitely looked like 3.8 million at first glance haha
Where do you get the Wanderer Armor? I'm gonna pick this up tonight after work so I am planning ahead.
Im @ lvl 30 and I nd some adjusting advice from u. what type of weapons should I use? also Im equipped mostly juggernaut and abyssal armor piece and 2 pieces gives me health regen and wrath regen with lightning damage. generally what powers and weapons would u suggest?
Indeed you do, at this point in time, if I respec then I get 40 points to spend but I think it caps out there.
Hmmm... Nobody seems to be making any pathfinder build videos. Maybe I'll try that.
why doesnt anyone use the lvl 20 abilitys for Necro or Harvenger?
Ur so good at explaining not well known for you tubers that do this type of games but I have a hard time finding possessed weapons any tips on where I can find some I'm currently level 28 on my new game plus.
Looks like you are correct...add it to my future derp slap pile :)
Great video, very informative.
Hi .. great video .. you generate your heath and wrath just because the skills ?? or your gear have something ?
I pre this game and it comes today and now i know which spec im going in :) OP harbinger
Max out Teleport Slash and Death Blossom, skip the 2 left skills and only put a filler point in the ones between.
Max out the Unstoppable except for 1 point in Call of the Grave and skip Killing Blow.

Hello, How do you get this armor(wandere armor)?? o.O, please, tell me!!!
the harbringer build is bad :S get unstoppable, harvest with the two first upgrades, lichspines, hp steal main weps and with the left points go ghouls-charge-shield what ever suits you.And with unstoppable active you will start to see the 10k crits from harvest
hey dude, why can't my skill "Exhume" just summon 2 ghouls while i maxed it at lvl 3? :( i really need help, btw nc videos u got there :)
How did you get your wanderer's armour?
Lucky! I have the hardest time finding wrath steal :(
You can do replay throughs with all your character improvements???
Hey anyway you can make a video about finding legendary armor?
Simple technique... Great tips man!
I use both sides, harvenger side I went with using the reaper and unstopable, necro I went with ghouls and shield id say in terms of health regen I I just use my weapons that does great health regen and wrath :)
i am playing on apocalyptic and i am level 20 now...i haven't found any health steal or wrath steal item so far.So i can not put those enchantments on my weapon.Any suggestions? thanks.

Apocalyptic Psychameron with harbinger build using the DLC devil gear, that's similar to playing DMC on DMD mode :3.
You must be so pro.
I'm having problem with the screen tearing
when u star new game plus you loose the items?
What scythes are they?
howd you get higher level im level 22 i thnk and ive beaten the corruption already
Is there anyway to reset your skill points?
I personally prefer to use ghouls, unstoppable and teleport slash. Just fun to pop ghouls, unstoppable, get some wrath and just destroy shit. By the time my ghouls explode, most enemies are dead.
Is it any good?

i dont have this game yet but i know how i wanna build my character i love wrath, damage, defense, and health
Necro is OP. I don't even need the Harbinger.
can you please show all of deaths skills. in a video
The most overpowered build is only obtainable through cheating on PC. Gives you full Harbringer and Necromancer skills at max level upgradability.

in my openion harverst is the most overpowered attack in the game i did 36k on multiple enemies ... on lvl 30 ofc
lvl 21 i used to do 8k- 11k
What's the max level?
are you Quipky from big bang theory?
wrath is not a problem for my 35% wrath steal possesed claws
if you did a 3.8 million dmg crit why wasn't it one shotted?
3866 plus 1054 is not 3.8 mil and why is he not using his heavy weapon
first time i tied to play the game i choosed apocalyptic. i walked it through from 1st lvl :)
This video could be better if you didn't level Aegis.
You won't or shouldn't be getting hit for that to even be useful on top of the fact it isn't worth it.
Although i guess the reason i was doing so much with my skills is because with the Executioner's scythes I have 533% crit damage :/
So when you spell killing do you spell it kiwwing
Teleport slash is really only effective up against the bigger foes in crucible, Frenzy is better in every way. I was doing 15-20k crits with Frenzy at level 22.
Good or bad thing if I am? Haha

LMAO he actually thinks he hit for 3.8 million
he did a 3,866,054 critic so he actualy did at 10:57
DANIEL ALEJANDRO ummmm no he did not its avtually two hits 3866 and 1054 it just so happens the numbers were really close to each other
rey cayton rey is right..way back when I actually thought I did three million damage lolz
rey cayton combines by the 2 skill attacks
and its not separatd you can see its part of it
ManufacturedOpinionn Hey dude, I really need your help with this kind of stuff. I can't find any possessed weapons and Vulgrim isn't selling the legacy box so I have no idea what to do please help if you ever see this
He pronounced it correctly. It's just in English that he didn't pronounce it correctly, but then again, in English, "sans" (French for "without") isn't pronounced correctly either.
why don't you have a weapon with wraith steal on it... you could spam so much better... and health steal.
how are you healing so fast?
Crypkey from big bang theory did this video
i do apocalyptic right from my first playthrough.. -_-''' no biggie, its not that difficult.
The harbinger and the necromancer build both suck.

I hit LIKE by the way. :)
When I saw ur harbinger crit by the end I copyied your specs cuz I Am a harbinger but my spec weren't like or as strong as your thx
Have you ever played WoW?
Oh ya man it's a pretty sweet game
3.8 million?!!!! MAN IT IS 3800 twice thats the double hit from unstoppable -_-
He is not correct. Aegis is an ancient Greek word. his ''ee-jis'' is his Westernized pronounciation, most likely American English. It's '' e-gis ''. With a short e , the g is pronounced as the word gay/egg and the s is also short. Thank you for the video, good day.

its like your saying you know this game better than anybody here smh.
respec at Vulgrim
HERBDERP
that was 3.8 million
Good video and it was a 3.8 million crit
dude big help ace video
yup
he knew what it was but think about this if it was 3.8 million should that thing be fucking dead
Get level 25+ and chain the Crucible boss ... i got a 118% health steal weapon like that ^^
Is messed up that they only gave us 1 new game plus =) I beat the crap out of the crusible with lv30 Death and damn i'm way way too overpowered... They need to bring a patch where you can like get whatever NG+ cause damn it seems like the game just died on me after 230 hours
