I’m lucky enough to be able to catch glimpses of the sea from my living room window, where it’s visible between the rooftops, and can highly recommend it! 🌊

Oh Gemma. Compassion is a weakness for me. I must learn to not compromise my boundaries. Feeling stretched to the limit. Thank you for being you.
I think compassion can only be a strength… but just remember that you aren’t an exception, and deserve just as much as anyone else 💗 (I also struggle with boundaries 😅).
You’ve hit the spot, Gemma. The great paradox for me (as a Sadge) is how the festive season belies an undertow of melancholy, a Scorpionic echo reminding us of shadowy stuff not quite resolved. Your Christmas readings would seem to chime!
Re: a move to nearer the water, I lived on Hayling Island in 2012-2013 and didn't appreciate just how lucky I was to live there at the time. Moved to Southsea after which was also quite lovely. I'm back in Canada, close to lakes but there's NOTHING like being close to saltwater.
Australian here, who watches you nearly everyday and now says “it’s a lot” in a parody of my own accent! It’s hard one to explain when people ask! Thanks Gemma! 🤦🏻♀️ (😂🤣)
Allergic to work platitudes- yesterday’s quip- brilliant!! I am still chuckling 🤭… so, new jeans? Always a battle! Lower my self expectations- I’m in👍🏼… remind myself to breathe… and drink more water 💦 ( I wish I talked to myself as I do my friends!) Treasure you! Thanks!! (S.P. fan also!)
I can’t imagine buying jeans ever again but congrats on finding a pair. Im a big fan of a dress because it’s one and done. Adding “Knowledge is good in some ways but it’s not wisdom” to the 💎list and always thank you. Plath💜
Thanks, Gemma. I call the fable you spoke about the "Maybe Story." I love this and it's a great reminder that sometimes a "good situation" turns out to be a nightmare, and a "bad situation" can end up being the best thing that ever happened, propelling you to something really wonderful. I have some major life events like this, where something really terrible ended up being my biggest and best blessings in ways I could have never anticipated. The Universe works in mysterious ways and life works out as it's meant to be, even if it doesn't feel like it sometimes.❤
You're so entertaining with "Street View" LOL don't judge a book by the cover love. btw thank goodness for stretch jeans. Now back to the reading "spot on" cheers
Thanks Gemma! Definitely on point 🙏👌 Had a lovely long chat with my mom last night for her birthday (she’s obviously a Scorpio), probably the best in years. It’s so nice to be able to take the smooth with the rough sometimes ☺️
"If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim, If you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those 2 imposters just the same", tx for Kipling reminder G. that poem definitely my mantra.📑💕 I loved your summary of the cards, would add the Serenity Prayer for myself, always a challenge! After your S.P. reference a couple of weeks back I ordered Ted Hughes Collected Poems because I'd forgotten so much; as I love animals and he often wrote metaphorically about them it's a treasure trove. Really like The Thinking Fox for this time of year and because it's an incantation of how art is created. Like you, read some bios of the doomed couple, also great admirer of Plath. Great reading, much to remind myself!❤
Gemma the eyes are very connected to the brain.. Eyes are responsible for so much. Maybe just a bit more healing all will be well. Fabulous reading!!! Definitely enjoy your mass knowledge. Keeps me on my toes! Thank you lovely Gemma!⭐️⭐️⭐️🐱
You and the cards were spot on about today. Not much got done,or rather it got done but with resistance and overthinking. I miss the rain. New York and New Jersey ( metropolitan area) is down 8 inches and voluntary restrictions are imminent. I will be buy new jeans in the coming days,Gemma; so that's definitely a thing.
Thank you for a kinder introduction to Sylvia Plath than I’ve ever had. In all my 71 years, I’ve been introduced to her so bleakly over and over, I was inclined to avoid her. Now I am heading to my library app to get familiar with her work.
❤❤ most engaged commenter, how complimentary! And I thought I was just a chatterbox who couldn’t keep herself to herself. (And in case you may remember eventually, Childress sounds like “children” when a snake says it.) ❤❤
Okay, this is probably the most random question ever, but I'm going to England for the first time next week and trying to figure out what to wear, particularly on the bottom (hee hee), as I think sweaters will probably do me on top (but open to other suggestions, of course!). I keep seeing people saying 'Don't wear jeans, they're get too soaked from the rain! Don't wear tights, they won't keep you warm! Don't wear leggings, they'll get too wet and you'll freeze to death!' etc etc. And now I'm just sooo confused. HALP!
Layers are your best friend. You always need a light raincoat which fits into your bag. Jeans are fine but not thick sweaters you need zip up tops you can take on or off. It’s hot on transport and in shops but cold outside and in museums. Comfortable shoes. Good socks 🙏🩷
I love the pieces from books, poetry and writers that we get from you. For different reasons I haven't rally read a book for 12 years. Not for my own pleasure at least and last week I went to the library and borrowed 2 books by Sylvia Plath. I have never read anything by her before. 🙏🏽✨️🩷

Totally get this. It’s a melancholic time of year and it tends to be swings and roundabouts! 🤯
One of my sayings is “knowledge only becomes wisdom when you can apply it”

We have more information and somehow we aren’t the better for it. Wisdom is either in short supply or when given, seems to be ignored. 🙃
Really noticing this lately. Especially with the internet. Lord have mercy ❤
Are you in the US? God help us. 🙏😩
@ Yes 😞

@@dogstartarot thank you! I feel like I’m in a science fiction movie. Did I die and go to Netflix? This can’t be real. 😢

Sylvia Plath should be held accountable for her racist ideology.
