weakness is exactly as shown in artifacts page. if it says +10k dmg to fire titans, then your attack is +10k when attacking fire titans. if the artifact isn't leveled you have no bonus. stars are worth 10-15 levels, depending how many you already have, so if they're a star above you they might be stronger with lower level also, 2+ tanks is rarely a good idea. The titans formation is based on 3 positions, forward, middle, and back. Tanks have aoe-ish physical attacks that hit the whole front column. if you have 2 tanks and the enemy has only one tank, then both your tanks are only hitting their tank, while theirs hits both yours, and charges his ult faster from hitting twice. Tanks have weak/slow auto-attacks to balance this, but by giving them two targets your making them stronger while making yourself weaker. This is particularly bad against moloch as his ult is balanced to hit one target and does crazy dmg + stun if he's hitting both your tanks. 2 or 3 tank into a moloch you might as well only be running 4 titans rather than 5. (this also applies if you have no tanks and 2+ middle or back formation titans at the front) Time is your biggest ally in this game (aside from real money x.x). you don't need to be a wallet warrior, but you do need to play every day. I've been playing close to a year, and only got hyperion from summon stones, but i've gotten araji, eden, and four starred hyperion through events that give souls stone chests. Gotta be patient, though I admit if that's not for you I wouldn't hold it against you to stop playing. This game definitely favors the wallet warriors and sometimes events feel more like a scam than a reward, haha. Gotta just relax and not worry too much about competing. I can't imagine how much money they're raking in just off the top 1% of the tournament players competing for first place. I bet you the 100,000 emeralds doesn't even mean much compared to what they're already spending on the game

The outcome of the battle was decided only because the weaker player was fortunate (very lucky indeed - which is extremely rare and could only be because they are spending so much money on the game) enough to get a titan spirit. Everybody knows that the probability of getting titan spirit is almost negligible if you don't spend money on buying emeralds. Even the big discrepancy on the 3rd or 2nd fight was because the weaker team have 2 titan spirits. Ain't gonna happen to non-spending players!
did anybody notice something out of this world? at around 3:13 in the video, the opponents powers are 566,170 & 966,346 - is this realistic or are these what the admins are referring to as "FAKE" players?
the 566k player was real, the 966k player was not. The video says itself that they won against a "boosted" player, which is the term they use for the fake players that show up in stage 6. They exist to be barriers that aren't beatable and thus keep you in stage 6, as they don't want the tournament to go on forever. That said, I don't think they intended for the boosted players to be beatable, so this is a surprise, and yet 966,000 still isn't that crazy because usually one of the boosted players is around 2,000,000 power 566k power seems doable, but they definitely spent a ton of money on the game. I've doubled my power in the month since the tournament released (45k up to 90k) and i've only spent like 10 dollars on it, most of that was from just playing the tournament fairly. very little of that was titan levels either, all artifacts. a wallet warrior who was already at 200-300k power could easily boost themself another 200k power since the tournament came out. Artifacts and spirits make a huge impact, and almost negate any work that was done in the dungeon before it released, save for unlocking the premium titans and stars.
wow, really. are yo trying to impl players are dumb, because of this? every comment here shows otherwise they know the wins are form elemental spirits, and they give a huge boots, but there are not calculate in the power level above are they? and mairi and ignis negate each other? dont you know your own game? mairi has a 40% reduction regardless if level 1 or 120 and the enemy is level 1 or 120, while ignis boost isnt a fixed 50% of the damage of the titans boosted its a fixed 50% of ignis damage so if he is highlevel or has a high 3rd artifact the damage boost can double to tripple lower level titans damage output, and if he is low level it can be not much of a boost at all. while mairis is constant, regardless of level, starts or artifact, ignis needs high level and stars(which are mostly random in the eggs).
elemental spirits are partially calculated in. the addition to attack power is added to power, but not the release effect, so if you have 4 water titans and the water spirit it does give a significant boost to your power stat, but not as significant as the healing/damage would indicate if it was in there.
has to do with team buildig ad the power ratings are flawed, SPECIALS do way more damage than their power rating and 1st and 2nd artifacts are fluff(only effects 1/3 of titans) thing is most players only have top 5 or zero to no totem, Fake players have an arrow beside them and can be beaten if you have everything maxed out and the right combo, but really if you don't have your titans built up to fight against the enemy you can't win. So they want you to max out everything so you can beat stronger fake players.I didn't need this video I have contacts like SAM from now server 2, this video just showed what is already know with certain updates, like specials and Totems, also you can try to keep your power level low and fight all teams by just upgradig the 3rd artifact, that way the power numbers aren't as fakely amped up, I have my own strategies which are actually helpful like building the elemental 2nd artifact of the front man. this strategy means you'll be building your 4 rear and your 3 frontman and only switch frontman out which their 2nd artifact is boosted against the main element of opposing team. but again thats more than 5 top, its 7 but at least it gives some diversity and maxium payout
Try using your titans' skills in proper time. For example, Nova's stun interrupts supertitans' skills, Sigurd's shield saves him from Araji, Mairi is good at minimizing damage from Eden and Hyperion, etc.
Someone please explain to me why so many comments here are demeaning the players with totems? So they spend money on the game, the whiners could too if they didn't always have to spend their money on the newest "best" thing out there. I spend plenty on the game, because I can afford to. I don't have to try to impress anyone in the real world with all of the latest greatest gadgets and things. Quit whining and skip a few of those $9 cups of coffee and invest in whatever makes you happy, if that is a video game, then more power to you.
This tournament is so rigged you always put the rook in the early stages to take you out of the better prizes at the end of it. The rich get richer and my money is not green enough to get the items I need.

Earth titans are suppossed to dominate the water titans according to the video, but the earth titan team (420K) not only loses badly but also scores 0 in guild war.
