I haven’t had a Christmas for the last six years as I’ve been bedridden for all that time in my lounge on a hospital bed after collapsing at university. I already had a plethora of illness inc lupus, crps and now have fnd. We moved house in April to another county and don’t know a soul. Haven’t left my house yet as not got a wheelchair that can go out and about outside This is the first time I’ll have a tree in so so long and I’ve not got much except a memorial bauble for my mum, 3 Disney ornaments and some pink baubles from Asda. It doesn’t matter. It’s going to looks so pretty as it’d white with fibre optics and I wait to get it up. Haribo are my fave sweets and it would just make me smile as I’d share with my son who is my carer even though he’s disabled himself and autistic. We’ve had a rough few years but hoping my wheelchair adapted bungalow will bring many years of happiness starting with the tree. We won’t be having gifts as we got the tree. We just want to watch a movie together and then I can sleep in my own room on a real bed. Since my mum died Christmas has been sad and empty too but we hope to change it around this year. You guys a,was make me smile Xmas week and I just love leaving Spotify on play repeat. Lmao. I’m so pleased people are recognising you for the good you’ve done in her world. Just so brilliant. We have 4 boys - one of whom is autistic with a very limited diet. He loves haribo. The only food he will eat from an outside caterer is a sausage roll! #haribo this is the best! Because the kids are older (12 and 18) they’ve decided no tree but to decorate the banister with Christmas decorations and stockings. I haven’t had a Christmas for the last six years as I’ve been bedridden for all that time in my lounge on a hospital bed after collapsing at university. I already had a plethora of illness inc lupus, crps and now have fnd. We moved house in April to another county and don’t know a soul. Haven’t left my house yet as not got a wheelchair that can go out and about outside
This is the first time I’ll have a tree in so so long and I’ve not got much except a memorial bauble for my mum, 3 Disney ornaments and some pink baubles from Asda. It doesn’t matter. It’s going to looks so pretty as it’d white with fibre optics and I wait to get it up.
Haribo are my fave sweets and it would just make me smile as I’d share with my son who is my carer even though he’s disabled himself and autistic. We’ve had a rough few years but hoping my wheelchair adapted bungalow will bring many years of happiness starting with the tree.
We won’t be having gifts as we got the tree. We just want to watch a movie together and then I can sleep in my own room on a real bed. Since my mum died Christmas has been sad and empty too but we hope to change it around this year. You guys a,was make me smile Xmas week and I just love leaving Spotify on play repeat. Lmao. This is the first Christmas since my dad died last Christmas Eve and joined my mum, my first Christmas living back in the UK in 5 years, and the first Christmas with a chaotic crazy 1 year old!

This year we are putting a beaded spider on our tree after hearing about this beautiful Christmas story. We are also making sure to add lots of tinsel to represent the spider webs.

This year #decoratingday was spent trying to decorate the tree while trying to keep the 9 months old puppy from eating all the decoration. He did get his very own personalised tree decoration though and the kids added their own touch too. Watched "Home alone" after eating popcorn.

Just so brilliant. We have 4 boys - one of whom is autistic with a very limited diet. He loves haribo. The only food he will eat from an outside caterer is a sausage roll! What a PERFECT combination you have created here!!!! Tree will be the usual combo of lights and fluffy balls but might just copy this haribo ball idea if I can find some see through baubles.
