Get 24 or 25 count snare wires. Evans hazy 300 and a power stroke head. Or if it’s really pingy get the Evans the Evans HD dry with a tone ring or you can try moon gels which I like because depending on how messy you are it stays stuck to the head
Not exactly, but this is the actual drummer for Passion, so it's only a slight variation, or editing that's different. I saw them at their conference when they played this song, and each time they played it, the drums had a slight difference, so I assume that the drummer is taking a little bit of artistic liberty. Like the floor tom/snare at the end of the bridge. I remember him playing that live, but the recording doesn't have it.
Beast bro! Yo kit sounds AMAZING! I LOVE that snare
you absolutely killed it wow.
I love the high end pop on the snare.

This is not a tutorial, this is a playthrough.
Aaron Levy some people will take this video as a tutorial , it depends on how they want to be taught ,for me this tutorial is great .
Ok, we get it.....You've commented on other videos that "playthrough"...Consider making a tutorial video then....
Do you need to post the same thing on multiple videos?
A tooter who tooted a flute
Tried to tutor two tooters to toot
Said the two to the tooter…
“Is it harder to toot, or
to tutor two tooters to toot?”
Verse 1 with the cymbals sounds ugly.
The ride cymbal is the culprit
More of a cover and less of a 'tutorial'. Good skills though.
Your cymbals just dont fit to the song 🙁

Heartbeat Anthem, Custom, or Custom Dry, or any other dark and complex-toned cymbals are what a lot of worship drummers are using these days though.
Music track ducking doesn't sound good. Drum track too loud.
It's a drum tutorial.
