It was a criticism of the Aurora coaching staff. Why they scrimmed Blacklist for the ULF match and not the M6 teams? They are hiding strats and they shot themselves in the foot.
Well, AURORA's coaching staff is not new to the mworld.
I believe other ph teams also didn't want to scrims too much b4 tournas. Or it's just black and aurora. Idk.
And I recall black and exe having a bunch of scrims in msc(?) and black winning the majority of the time,
But they lose in the main stage vs exe.
I suppose they don't want to repeat that mistake again...

Anddddd at the end of the day, we just need to accept that other teams are stronger than aurora this time.

What Chicken said in the video was so true. Theyalways lost the drafting and we're so behind on the meta. I know they defeated Falcons AP Bren but I think Bren would do way better than Aurora in this format

I said it before that there is a coaching problem with Aurora. Ofc people said I was coping and all that, when Swiss is the extreme weakness of analysts that rely on habits like MTB and Wolf.

That is the inherent problem with MTB: they are so bookish when it comes to drafting. Whatever stat or data they got in scrims can work if the format for M6 was the same as previous formats. The swiss format punishes teams who are textbook and doesn’t think outside the box and how ironic his name is MasterTheBasics but his drafting pattern is so textbook. I hate coaches who goes by the stats or book so hard in a swiss format like they are the dumbest mfs around.

They literally drafted outside the box and got grouped. Theyre just not good enough. Its that simple
It was also a mess with the players execution aside from bad drafts. Bad shotcalls. They were sync in MPL PH and almost winning the championship. And all of the sudden M6 came, bad games and unsynchronized RORA. I don't know what happened. Repicking heroes over and over. MTB also doesn't fully utilize DK's assassins. Yue always on Vexana. Edward on gatot. Moskov is the only working mm on Domeng. Renejay's mathilda always banned. I'm not a hater. And to be honest, I even voted them as M6 champs.
they got fucked by experience, domeng was nervous and it showed. Renejay somehow played the same
they cooked them self i was so surprise on their first match when they give hilda, hylos and bruno im like what the fuck are they doing they dont have a way of killing bruno. and thats what happen in their game.
Even in rank games, you can just outright surrender when your team gives up Hilda, hylos, and Bruno to the other team. How can you beat that in this current meta?

The problem with aurora is their coach. They need someone to let go of blacklist playstyle.
Aurora was not the worst PH rep. Onic PH in M1 with Dlar, Veenus, and Wise lost very early on so they had to do an early exit.
Same thing. Both teams only won one series. ONIC PH only left earlier because of the bracketing system. RORA had more matches due to Swiss Format.
yea. aurora team was way worst because phil dominates in the past m-series and int'l tour, so everybody expected they'll be a contender. onic before was indo supremacy in int'ls so its not that big deal.
Technically you're right but there were no expectations with Onic PH back then tho. The fact that they struggle to beat Sunsparks who lose against Burmese in the semis lower bracket proves none of the PH reps were ready. Overall Aurora is the worst PH rep that comes from the defending m series champion country.
There's not much hype aside from unexpected comeback from Sunsparks and Onic creating new meta...

The meta changing day by day, you can actually feel it even in RG. And if you are playing solo or you are used to doing the same thing every game, it was really disorienting. RORA was playing the MPL PH Playoffs Meta which was more than a month ago or more. And the drafts really looked so outdated.
The META changes and the frequent patch updates was really really disorienting and confusing.

Favian manages to outsmart Demonkite and Aeronshiki was able to zone out Renejay real quick that’s why they didn’t have the chance to react when they were ambushed.

They know the meta they’re in PH region what are you talking about? Their play style depends on the hero they want to use. They can not just randomly pick heroes just because those heroes are on the meta.

COMPLACENCY is just a dangerous concept in every facets of life, specially on competition and sports. Never thought that a top PH coaching staff thinks like this. Nah nah. All high stakes competition give LARGE VALUE to PREPARATION, and in MLBB pro-scene, scrims are the best way to prepare and practice. If Aurora has no scrim buddy in-house their team, such as that of Echo before, then they have no choice but to scrim regularly with FNOP or other countries team in m6.
Unless, they're really strong that they think they're they should have proven this thru the m6 results, but given that they failed and was eliminated in swiss stage, then their assessment is wrong in all level, and they might have over-estimated themselves. Hard lesson learned.
HUNYENLO said before that it will be SRG time this time, but ended up INDO VS PH, and PH still won the M champion series. I wanna see hunyenlo face right now. 😐😮💨

Usually in Intl Tournaments, both PH reps will always be top 4. AURORA just broke this record haha. Bet all the Filipinos shaking their head when Blacklist 2.0 went to the Airport that early in the tournament. Better FCAP get the M6 slot, might be able to see more action.

Why are people surprise that Aurora/Blacklist, the team whose whole playstyle is "adapt, adjust then comeback" got fcked in Bo1?
They are not explosive at all, as in individually mechanic wise other than Edward none of the members are the best at what they are doing compared to others in ph.
I will say it again Aurora/Blacklist's playstyle doesn't favor the format of international tournament(not even the bo1 swiss). They shined the most in a long drawn out tournament aka mpl, where they read the team's playstyle, hide strats, then switch gear in playoffs. Hence why you see Blacklist always somehow crawled its way to Msc/M series despite Bren and Echo being the better team during Msc 2023 and M5, same case with this season's mpl that leads to M6. While they are undoubtedly a beast in mpl playoffs, they are not the better representative for ph teams.

Fwydyapper yapping again with his BS. Before M6, after Aurora demolished RRQ they were riding high on that ESL Open Finals cloud as they pretty much dominated that tournament. They were very confident going to M6 but anything can happen in a BO1. Even SRG, TLID and other top teams dropped their BO1 games. Those scrims Fwydyapper is talking about wont matter as every game is a draw and you have little time to prepare for teams. Over confidece, bad draft and poor execution. That's it. Hiding strat is the last thing on those coaches minds.
