I was panicking after a long period of time of not listening to this opera - I then found this in my list of favourites. joo6769 is right - the actress is not yeo suen chiu, but I enjoy her voice just the same. I really appreciate it that they did not change a lot in the actual music! I really enjoy this. I am going to Shantou shortly and hopefully I can buy some of the original opera. I will share them on TH-cam!

For the longest time I have been feeling so outdated because none of my relatives, except my brother, enjoy Teo Chiu music and opera and I am the only one who is still listening regularly to the audo casette tapes. It is so heart warming to know that you have these collections. Is it possible to post the entire Operas on You Tube?
I also love to watch this opera since I was a kid, I can be sure this is a little different than the original one I use to watch. Can somone tell me a site where I can buy original Teochiu opera on line please
