In the same video of your Main Channel was a user in the comments that say he had a original sound of the original song. It was real and you used that sound in this version or is the same?
I don’t recall the comment, so I’m not sure. But this is the same video, otherwise. What I’ll say is that to make this, I studied the original source of this song (short clips from the ‘Making of Plastic Beach’ documentary), as well as some other known demos/versions of this song in order to guess the chord progression. I also used samples of a drum machine and keyboard that were used on Plastic Beach, the Korg DDM110 and the Casio MT-70. It’s unclear if they were used on Sea of Beauty, but it’s as good of a guess as anything based on the short clips we have.

The bass itself doesn’t have that effect, but I also played along with the bass on guitar (palm muted), and there are spring reverb effects on that!
