    I just tried these, and wow what a good lens! i have tried to get contacts at 2 opticians now, first said i had no hope, due to poor quality of tears, the other decided to give it a try, and last shot i gave them before i gave up they ordered these, and they actually suprised me alot!
    Previously i tried 6 brands of monthly lenses, and 1 brand of 2 week lenses, neither of them i could wear for more then 1 hours before my eyes felt terrible, 3 hours i ripped them out in despair.
    These (toric version), i can wear with hardly any issues for 8-12 hours, only a bit stingy after a few hours, like if you swim with your eyes open in chlorinated water for a while, they sting, kinda like that, but not as bad, so totally acceptable imo. Hope this helps anyone else.

    I switched to these from the Alcon Precision 1 lenses (which are more expensive, BTW) because they were way more comfortable and didn't dry out. They were also way easier to take out. The precision 1's were so difficult to remove it was ridiculous.

    Thanks for the response pal. I took a trial of both the sizes and stuck with the 8.5. They are really great compared to the bi weekly ones I had before. Now, the only issue is, sometimes these get dry after six hours or so. I was wondering if you use any rewetting drops for moistening them up. If yes, which brands do you recommend

    • @ReviewsOnAnything
      @ReviewsOnAnything 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Uttam Kumar Great work man! happy to help! For me personally these are fantastic and dont get dry at all. I sometimes wear them 15 hours straight, to the gym, shower, aircon in the car anything. Whenever i get dryness issues its after such long days or obviously after being in an aircon environment all day, but only at the very end of the day.
      so no advice on drops really, but i reckon you can go the same route; go to an optician and see if you can get some samples, then stick with the one you like.

      Uttam Kumar ooh that all comes down to personal preference i think. I got bc9 from the start and they are so comfy that i never bothered to switch. And with soft contact lenses it should not make that much of a difference anyways.
      What you could do is go to your optician and ask for a trial strip of both bc's and see what suits you best. Most online stores also offer test-packages so just order those and try it out.
      No worries though, youll love em either way :)

      Bare with me here
      1 box
      has 3 smaller boxes
      which have 6 strips
      with 5 packets per strip
      each packet has 1 lens
      so depending on if your eyes are the same prescription or not, you can do 15 days with 1 box if used for both eyes and scale up from there.
      If you have 2 different prescriptions you need to order a separate box etc etc

    • @ReviewsOnAnything
      @ReviewsOnAnything 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      because if you clean and store them, you might as well get week or month lenses. The whole point is that you get a new lens every day so you dont have to mess around with solution etc

    • @waywaybeyond
      @waywaybeyond 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      impossible to say, depends on where you live and where you order. but the smaller amount you order the more expensive they get per lens probably

    I wear these lenses everyday and they are SO UNCOMFORTABLE! They hurt all the time!

      Oh man, really? Was just about to go for these to take on holiday. May get the oasys daily now you've said that!!
      Did anyone try these against the Dailies Aquacomfort plus? They are around the same price.

    • @ReviewsOnAnything
      @ReviewsOnAnything 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if the are uncomfy, why would you wear them?
      its all individual preference of course, but ive had these for 12 years or sth and live them every day

      Ok, thanks, that's good to know. I think with me coming from monthly/bi-monthly lenses they would feel pretty comfortable. I tried someone else's basic daily lens and it was like heaven!
      Only problem is I have a fairly high prescription (-5.25) with astigmatism in one eye, so will be pretty thick. I certainly can't afford the Oasys all year, so hope these could be my daily drivers.

      If it was an optometrist that prescribed you this brand that you’re uncomfortable with, don’t be afraid to let him/her know so they can troubleshoot the issue and prescribe something else. Contact lens brands aren’t something you just pick on your own. They have different base curves, diameters, ballasts, etc that are taken into account that the eye doctor fits specifically for the physical curvature and refraction of your eye.

    • @Kholaslittlespot1
      @Kholaslittlespot1 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. I've done a bit of research into how base curve and angles of the lens can change through different brands and prescriptions. The lenses from the opticians (this time) were so much more uncomfortable than what I ended up ordering for myself. I had to have something fast for a holiday and the opticians option was un-wearable.
      It seems I get free optician appointments with vision direct from the site I ordered. I think I'll check in and get things looked over.
      Thanks for the advice.

    do not use this equipment without consulting the eye doctor!!. contact lenses are medical devices

    Great Lenses ... expensive but worth it....lots of waste material...hopefully they will look at changing that.

    • @ReviewsOnAnything
      @ReviewsOnAnything 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah the waste is shitty, but i dont see many ways on how they can reduce that since in the end, every lens needs to be individually packed. BUT despite the costs, totally worth it indeed

    These lenses are good aweful. They dry up and fall out of your eye. The individual lenses packaging is stuck together in such away that when you try to pull them apart at ceration, it rips 3 of them in half wasting them.

    • @ReviewsOnAnything
      @ReviewsOnAnything 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      dont have that experience at all. They are by far the most comfy and long lasting lenses ive ever tried.
      The packaging can sometimes be a bit tricky for sure, but if you fold the individual pack a bit then it tears right off no problem

      you dont, they are identical lenses so it doesnt matter in which eye you put them. Providing you have the same prescription for both eyes of course

      My optician writes an L and R onto the boxes. Otherwise, you have to look at your prescription to find out yourself.
