5:38 - Lesson Start 1:01:55 - Question Period Thank you for the education stream Mercy. I too was lucky enough to start learning in elementary, so a review for me but it was a very good overview and definitely deeper than many actual school lessons out there. Enjoy your day off tomorrow (unless you're working all day () then have a enjoyable productive day). See you next week!
Plese do more videos like this, I found this informative and learned things I had no idea how this worked. I'm very old and when this stuff was taught back in the day. they sperated the boys and girls to seprate rooms, the boys didn't really learn about the female side of things, I dont know if the girls learned the boys side or not.
Always happy to see topics like this being taught in an orderly manner. Not a lot of people know how periods work, so having you teach us about this is very appreciated. Actually learned new stuff from this stream alone. Thank you for sharing this course and answering our questions, kouhai! Definitely an insightful stream
Thank you so much for this informative stream . I knew most of this already but there was still things I learned from this. A lot of it was more so things about you that I didn't know.
Very informative dr. Modiste phd, but as a simple med student, i think i may have a novel 9-month relief plan just for this issue! But in all honesty, i would have thought birth control would make periods more....chaotic, i guess? Messin with hormones an all. Gods debuff remains a mystery 😵💫
Speaking of "odd things about periods", here are some edge cases to potentially keep in mind: "Hyper-ovulation" is when multiple "eggs" are released as part of the cycle (potentially resulting in "fraternal twins"/non-identical twins). "Multiple ovulation" is when a second egg is released as part of a single cycle, but on a different day/part of the cycle (this is one of many reasons why the "rhythm method", and "safe days" are not reliable ways to prevent pregnancy). "Superfetation" is when an egg released after someone is already pregnant results in a second pregnancy - basically a woman can end up carrying fraternal twins who are a few weeks apart in age/fetal development.
As someone raised by a very open minded single mom, the amount of people who have zero idea about anything related to periods or sex ed is always so astounding.
As a guy I think I'm now prepared for when I get my first period
