I love the fact that you guys still produce and improve your products for older platforms. Still on my stock clutch, but grabbing this when my stock one goes out or when my warranty is up.
Here are some key things to look for when the CMC is going out 1: on acceleration the brake light will come on 2: when taking off from a stop the brake light will come on 3: during normal driving the brake light comes on 4: slippery floor mat or fluid on mat 5: pedal goes all the way to the floor Hopefully this helps some people if they encounter these situations🤙
I am one that daily drives my evo and I drive her like a 90 year old grandma haha. 124k with original clutch but got the feeling clutch is going, so I will upgrade and will replace the master cylinder.
i remember shopping for car parts and seeing this as a recommendation but didn't grap it big mistake that was, master cylinder finally gave out suddenly today while driving home super scary, now have to pre order, won't be driving anywhere anytime soon , thankfully work is within walking distance
So what you're saying is with this product you don't have to pull the brake booster, do any grinding, or any permanent modification at all? If this is the case we would all love to see an install vid from you guys. If this is the case I'll be SOOOOOO glad I didn't put my AMS one in just yet🤞🤞 AND I will be buying mine ASAP
I agree I want to see an install video, although on their website they have a PDF step by step install instructions. I skimmed through it and I saw you do remove the brake booster. So basically a nice simple video would be amazingly appreciated. Also when i tried to buy one today they didn’t have any quick click CMC in stock!! And i need one because mine is failing 😭😭😭😭😭
So for those that have the L bracket that fails installed already. We can buy the quick click adapter piece to replace it yes.? So we don't have to buy the entire 300$ part again .
Looks like im getting one of these for mine. My oem clutch master went out. So replaced it with an Oem . Now its pushing fluid out the back of the master were the line going to the slave cylinder is. Pushing fluid past the clipped end of the hose. Even with the hard line clipped into the bracket. So no real way to fix that issue its not pushing the hose out, its just forcing fluid out around the fitting.
Genius! I'm picking one of these up to replace my 8yr old stock one before it goes. Just curious if the brake booster still has to be removed like the older installs or is there enough room to install the quick click with out removing the booster?
I’m in the middle of this install at the moment, there’s no way you’ll get that installed without removing the booster/mc. I ended up filing a very small bit from the back of the mounting ears as it wouldn’t lock into place
I need help! The joint has a clip that im not sure if needs to be taken out when installing it onto the clutch ball. I cant seem to get the clip in after its connected
@@funnyratedtv6760 were you able to put it on? I wasn’t and the ball/ball joint has popped out on me 3 times, this last time I’ve tried popping it in but now it will not stay in
@@hEyWaTzUpDuDe i wasnt able to put the pin in and mine kept popping out too but the reason for that is cause its really not in, its not something you can do by hand, you need pliers and have the ball and joint in position and you just squeeze the two together until it pops
I still have a brand new replacement I bought from MAPerformance last year. Haven’t installed it yet. Will you guys have an adapter or something for me to upgrade the one I bought so I don’t have to drill holes?
I left the pin out. As long as the ball is properly snapped into the ball joint you should be good. I’ve been running it for almost two years now with no issues. Make sure to use some pliers to snap the ball in.
Does this still work if I have the Magnus kit? I think my cmc is going bad and am thinking about replacing it.my peddle height keeps moving up after I set it. I have a exedy hd twin

Wow I just installed your old style cmc 2 days ago where was this so I didn’t have grind anything 🙄😂 but good to see y’all have this now

Thank you thank you thank you MAP performance I will definitely be picking this up And thank you for listening to your customers needs.
way to find out is to look at your clutch pedal. you can see it leak and shaving the paint on the firewall. definitely gonna get this. quicker install
Would have love to have had this one before having to grind
out for the previous generation
Thank you thank you thank you, MAP performance👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Rumor has it one is in the works...
How do you guys connect the clutch pedal to the new cmc. I can’t pop it in given the small space
Just installed it today;) great upgrade
Nice 👍
Just wondering if you had enough room to install without removing the booster as well or did it still have to come out?
this could have come in extremely handy if released a month ago.... had to grind out 2 studs for the AMS CMC

I already installed the other one u guys offer.... because my factory one leaked at 31k
I would also want to know if this product doesn’t need any special cutting tools. Would love to see an install video on this as well.
No special tools required.
You do need a dremel to cut the welded bolts off the firewall, a dremel
@@funnyratedtv6760 there is no cutting required with this product.

I’m having the same issue
@@hEyWaTzUpDuDe so if you look at the manual it says the clip isnt needed but if you can put it on then why not, so theres the answer haha

You guys know wich port goes to the front brakes and wich ones goes to the rear?
But what about the “actual” hardest part? Putting that damn pin back on the ball joint
How were you able to get it in????
