Re the first comment, I live here and yes, no social distancing! and that’s because it’s a tourist destination and we get all the dumb day trippers. Come back during the week and you’ll see how the locals behave. We all avoid “town” on weekends, for obvious reasons. Oh, and, masks are not mandatory as of July 2020, BUT , when our southern borders were opened earlier in July , 250,000 people flooded in from the south so, yes ... it’s coming ! Don’t you love our reverse angle parking ? We thought of getting rid of it but we need the entertainment watching the day trippers stuff it up. If you check this video you will see the odd cretin who has driven in front on, if they couldn’t handle the reverse angle parking just imagine what a cock up they cause backing out at the wrong angle.... please do come to visit our charming town, but ...not until 2025 😎
Reverse parking is a great idea IF the general driving public have an ounce of decency, patience and consideration to the vehicle in front of them "overshooting" the parking space (while using their indicators, of course) in order to be able to back into the parking spot safely and quickly without some ignorant dimwit behind them tailgating thus hemming in the would be parker preventing him from reversing into the parking spot!
