My hubby works 12 hours shifts, he always gets leftover dinners. Enchiladas w beans and rice, chicken alfredo with broccoli, spaghetti garlic bread, veggie curry w white rice

Why not make those for ys? Of course it's nice to prepare food for sb else, but as long as it's bout making the food, doesn't matter who eats it. Safes money for groceries too. When I lived alone I only made food 2-3 times a week. This rest was reheating and packing. Made everything ahead myself even the sauces and in the morning I grabbed, prepped, packed and headed to college. I had meats/nuts/legumes and cheeses almost everyday for less than 6$ a day. When I traveled for work, I packed ramen w veggies, rice, potatoes and cooked it w my little travel kettle. It's cheap, delicious and fun without the responsibility of husband/kids. I recommend anybody to treat body, mind and wallet w making your own food. After years of doing this, I learned that w a fridge and freezer, nothing must go to waste. I have a section in my freezer where all the waste ends up. Veggie stalks, skins, even bones from eating chicken or other meats.. I throw them in, collect them and at the end of the month I'll have 'trash soup'. I cook it out over night, strain, add soy/miso, some chili and enjoy a bowl of fresh ramen for less than a $ since, except noodles and condiments, it is free. People might say I'm trash, but think about where your instant powder is coming from.. Convenience industry waste in dehydrated form. As long as you know the food/ how to store the food, it's not dangerous but delicious and resourceful. Give it a try, so you know what you're doing before potential husband's arriving.

I love the snack ideals for the husband who works in the hospital. That’s a wonderful ideal. I’m a nurse so I know how hard it is to get time to eat. So snacks come in handy.

I don’t know, men are mostly the one who work to earn money and women normally cook (I’m not being sexist, women can work if they want and men can cook if they want too. I’m just saying it mostly just the system in many household)
I cook for my wife! She deserves to have a good lunch too and I love to show her my love like this even when I'm out working.
She can definitely cook for herself (she makes damn tasty packed lunches for me too) but it's worth it seeing her happy face and saying that she loved the lunch I cooked for her.

i eat small and foods that aren’t very filling but when i watch videos like these i think of how great of a blessing it would be to make lunch like this for my future husband!! i would even learn how to make different recipes and add enough snacks so that i know he won’t ever go hungry while out! 😭

My friends husband is having a full fledged affair which she knows about and continues to stay and make him lunch everyday labeling his sandwiches even down to the bread type! For me I would use more of the techniques listed above or stop making lunch for his ungrateful a$$ but not her she loves living in a delusional fantasy Disney world type reality that doesn’t exist not for her anyways

I think they probably have time to do this (from what I understood some of them cook the food the day before with dinner) and/or their love language is acts of service so they don't mind. they sound happy in the voiceovers so they probably like to prepare the lunches which is the important thing
they could be a stay at home wife/mom or they could just make the lunches the night before if they do have a job, but i agree its hella work i respect them😭😭
I pack my husbands lunch and he will put the fruit and veggies in the fridge at work and eat the sandwich or leftovers and chips. I noticed you toast bread so it doesn’t get soggy. Your husband really likes banana peppers. 😀 God bless

i tried to make packed lunches for my teen brother at one point bcs i love cooking and i wanted to do something like this... but i had to get up at school times to make them (i don't think i even thought of night before prep) so that died quickly
