Heya Guys. I'm in between you and Robert as a fan Brian. Leaning slightly to the moderate side outwardly with a bit of a slow burn inwardly. On the other hand, I have a twin brother that is like you...possibly you on steroids as a fan. His wife designed, contracted and managed the construction of a downstairs sound proof room with multiple high end monitors and sound. It is decorated with Hawks and general NFL memorabilia, helmets, jerseys and wall art. Beautiful room. It has a single luxurious recliner. He watches alone. Every single game. No one will watch with him. No one. For his wife to stay in the relationship he had to approve and use the room. It was a condition. Or she was leaving him. I wish I was kidding I am not. lolol Dead serious. Hope that makes you feel better Brian, the pain does indeed run deep in some. Thanks for all you do buddy!
Geno reads the defense, often checking out of run plays, for good reason, as the opponent is trying to take away the run. If Geno just runs anyway, then it’s likely going to get blown up, BECAUSE we don’t have a line that can run WHEN the opponent knows you are. No Walt & Hitch, run whenever you want. So Grubb is trying to win the game, passing. But the line can’t pass block (as PFF notes). So Geno is taking the heat, chances he would not have to take, with a good o line. We just need to fix o line, KEEP Grubb, pay Geno, let Mike Mac get the team playing as one. Next year is looking damn good, IMO. Peace & happy holidays to all.
After the big reality check for him, maybe Brian can treat us to 'chronicling' the team for the last 3 games instead of 'over-hyping' the Hawks :) It would do his own mental state and his credibility some wonders too.
Brian you tell me who will be successful with a oc who has a bad oline that is from the previous team. Tell me what oc would be successful in this situation. And dont give me Shanahan or mcvay disciples when they arent mcvay or Shanahan
Caleb is struggling mightily behind a bad O Line. CJ Stroud has regressed because his line is almost as bad as Seattle’s. It’s laughable people think any other QB can play well behind this Line
Lucas has not looked great he may not be the answer at RT this injury may derail his career. Murphy continues to be ok but nothing special Spoon continues to be a non factor most game Mafe has disappeared not to mention the interior o-line. Ernest Jones is not the most physical LB your going to see he's good but i don't know if he's worth what he's going to want. Mike Mcdonald did not have his team ready to play Sunday and that's 3 home games now that that's happened. The GM has made alot of questionable decisions. I'm sorry Brian but this thing does not look good right now. A win Sunday is critical.
Murphy i had hoped would show more. Not super interested in the reasons given by some. He plays nearly 50% of the snaps. Okay for a rookie. Half a sack, 2 tackles for a loss, and 1 qb hit. Anyone who tries to tell me that's fine seems like they are lying about what the expect from a top dlinemen. I grt it "if only they had a NT or whatever." Do folks have any idea how hard it is to find a good one? Not a body but someone who actually matters. Spoon is tricky because the two years prior felt like seattle was getting killed in the short game so i tend to think that spoon is locking that down. Would like more impact for sure. Jones at patrick queen money? Not sure queen was worth that. Not sure jones will be worth that. Will be interesting to see what they do.
You say that the Rams offense is like throwing a dart…you never know what you’re going to get from game to game. But Grubb should be fired? Grubb got thrown into this. Mcvay built his team. But the teams are tied. How about supporting Grubb, realizing it is his first year and there’s expected ups and downs, bad o line. I’m disappointed in your pessimistic attitude. The team is better than I thought they’d be, maybe even a playoff game. When Grubb is on, the offense, JSN, are fun to watch. Improve the line, and let it grow.
While I agree with you that grubb is still learning the players and the nfl in general. But I think Macdonald and grubb aren't going to be together much longer. I believe grubb could turn this offense around but honestly with the way Macdonald talks he not a fan of grubb style. I wish it isn't true and I'm tired of pessimistic fans who don't understand that patience is needed. This is mcvay as oc or Shanahan. Heck grubb can't trust the oline to do much of crap so I blame Schneider over grubb. The so called fans think a Stefanski or McDonald will come free when they will get another HC, Reich absolutely sucks, pedersen is better, engstrand will be oc for Detroit. So tell me who will be better than grubb if grubb gets oline help like Schneider did with the defense. Ugh I'm so frustrated with this pessimistic attitude
I love Robert Mays Mondays on Tuesdays brought to us by Pagliacci's Pizza!
RIP to Robert's pup. 🙏
OMG Robert's discussion of the screen game was eye-opening and fantastic!

I think Sam Howell would play better if he were to eat more Pagliacci Pizza

Anger happens to the best of us, we still got a chance!

Way too many CASUAL FANS..take Geno for granted.

Yeah Ernest looks super slow I kept saying that to myself on Sunday

Problem is he’s almost never on lmao

@@thomascox9362 I’d say 95% chance he’s gone next year
I can’t wait for a new oc and new qb, both geno and Grubb need to go
It’s like you didn’t watch the video or don’t listen to Robert. Geno is very good.
