Man I'm excited im picking up my first 2015 Honda accord EX-L V6 sedan Automatic this morning front the dealer dealer with only 77K miles and clean carfax. I was driving an O8 Honda civic 5 speed. This is definitely a great upgrade and fell in love after test driving.

I just find the fuel efficiency crazy. I ran Cleveland area Ohio to Oshkosh Wisconsin on one take. 8hrs non stop running. I ended up running around 40 miles per gallon and had about a gallon and a half remaining when I pulled into the gas station… VCM is a love hate relationship! I4 or V6? V6, pull the trigger, I4’s are notorious for drinking oil at higher mileage. If you buy either, you will be incredibly happy and have a lot of life with it.
This is why as usually the high earner in a relationship I'm never getting married. Was once when I was in my 20s and not making much. Now in my 40s and my name is on my apartment, car, bank account, credit cards. No joint accounts, not even a combined cell phone cause trust no one. The nicest person can snap over something stupid. And divorce is expensive, it's cheap to toss them out and change the locks. Coming from someone who dated a big cheater who finally got caught by my credit card company for making a ridiculous purchase.

As a airline pilot on my now 19th marriage (I think…) I would say go for it, but make sure you have a strong prenup as well as a good divorce attorney. I learned the most in my 3rd and 6th. The 3rd was bad when she took my pride and joy, my boat. It was a ploy, totally planned. I had a waisted summer until I could get my hands on something that floated. The 6th one was even worse. Crazy woman took my house and boat. I don’t care to comment on that one. To much pain and PTSD. Had to pick up a day shift as plant manager and work nights @ fed ex to maintain some cash flow. Woman ran me dry. So at the end of the day. Just divorced. It’s like cleaning a chalk board.
