Thank you for pointing out the second part of this fight, I just ran in a circle on the perimeter and found the waves are also easy to dodge because they’re on a rotation and you can easily dodge them when they’re being shot on the opposite side of the area. I watched this, did the hand to the forehead duhh move and beat it right after this. Much love! Thank you! 🙏
Man you really helped me out. I was stuck with my mage/sorcerer build, ended up going back to farm some more levels + better gear then tried again with 75% cold/lightning resist and 68% physical resist. This time it all worked out. I ended up casting 1 spell on a tentacle (meteor or molten orb) then immediately started running toward the other, this way I managed to dodge most of his heavy hitting attacks. It also seems like a good idea to have your ward up whenever you can because when one of the beams does hit you it's usually too late to react.
You can use town portal and buy any resistance gear, then forge resist affixes to the 75% cap, it'll be 10x times easier
I ended up, as a runecaster, accidentally glitching behind the tentacle keeping you from going downstairs on the right side using runic invocation with the skill that makes you jump backwards when you use it, and it was great. haha
The part that really sucks is that, for those of us who set left click to use a skill when clicking a target or shift-clicking, almost the entire screen thinks you're targeting him when you're trying to move (even if you click directly on the ground, not touching his body or tentacles at all) so dodging his OHK moves is...difficult.
The main problem with the second phase, the waves are too frequent

its crazy how they just throw in this hard fight without pretty much any real prep. game was too easy till this guy.
As frustrating as it is, the community on the other is just the same, tried asking for help in a lively chat and everyone just stayed silent

Did it on hardcore.... everything was easy before. Died in 0,4 sec.... not cool
Yeah so everyone says "Oh he's so hard to beat." But i beat him in 7 mins as a beast person and i was a level 56 with no overpowerd stuff so yeah. He is not hard. My advice is just dodge and if you cannot beat him...sucks to suck.
