My right hand is hurting because I'm so hooked. Plus i have gel pens in colours, so have been enjoying those too this week. Thank you for so many ideas. I feel very zen over the last two days. ❤
I struggle with any drawing/doodling. I am very OCD and focus on my mistakes. But my self therapy is to not beat myself up over it and move on, which is filling my sketchbook more.
You are thinking very right. Don't focus on the mistakes and try to finish them all. When the drawing is finished, you will not see your mistakes and you will like the result. You will relax over time.
I tend to obsess over perfection too. Many times, i have made a mistake and felt like abandoning the pattern. Every time i pushed through to finish the block, i have been glad i did. Usually i look again the next day and the overall picture looks so much better than it did when i was “zoomed in” while drawing it. Even patterns i really messed up and ones that i thought were too ugly to finish; they always look better when complete, and sometimes i would even say they turned out awesome. Push through and fill the space. Nobody will see those tiny “flaws” but you. Try and view your finished work with new eyes, however you can manage it.
Even though you could cut, edit, paste, you drew all those together 1:17:56 in your own video and didn't take clips from other videos. I really appreciate that as it took me more than 1hour and 30 minutes.
Do you know how many people are doing these designs and they should try to protect their zen art if they don’t want others doing the same one, there is a way that can be done. But so many are trying to learn to do this not to sell them but just to do them, so I love this video. If this person needs to do this to protect themselves from using someone else designs don’t you think they would do that..

I also publish my own work so that others can learn.
