Hi Travis, I'm a 22 year T6 para that was injured in a motorcycle accident in 2001. I was hurt at the age of 38 and I'm now 60. The rehab back then was prehistoric compared to now. I just wanted to give you some words of encouragement and tell you that this life in these physical bodies is short no matter how healthy you are. It wasn't meant to last forever. The physical body is a temporary abode for man's eternal Spirit. Your Spirit is the part of you that makes up your Consciousness and Awareness of Being. Man was made in the likeness of his Creator, which is a Spirit being. His Kingdom dwells within man, although many are unaware of this fact. When these short-lived physical bodies die, our Spirit leaves the body and returns to Him. We can learn quite a bit about this in the Bible, which is an awesome book to say the least. Keep a strong positive attitude Travis and know that this physical life is just a small part of our overall experience. The best is yet to come! Take care, God bless!
I just looked your story up. What a brave and handsome young man you are!!! I'll be honest I have a son and started crying watching this. My husband is a spinal surgeon in Austin and I hear a lot of his stories. You look amazing and have an amazing future ahead of you!
Travis you are an inspiration to everyone. Your mental strength is insane. What really hits me is the fact that you are so accepting to be who you are. Being positive and learning to work with what you have, like you do, is a trait that a lot of people don’t have. I truly want to see your channel and image grow. I believe you could make a huge impact on a lot of people life’s based off your story of how you’ve gotten to where you are today. I love you man keep being you!
What a great Q and A! I used to work in inpatient rehab at the start of my career and we had 16 year old quadriplegic patient. You really compensate incredibly well in your scapula as as well as your wrist, I initially thought you had an incomplete SCI. You are truly an inspiration! Keep doing these videos for information and to give others hope that they can still live after SCI.Thanks!
I just found you randomly and really enjoyed the Q&A , thanks for helping teach others like myself about your injury and recovery. I pray you continue to improve and just subscribed so i can see your progress, keep being positive ❤️
Another quad youtuber to watch is Roll with Cole and Charisma. He's been a C5 C6 quad for 11 years. He's been married to Charisma for 2 years. They are an amazing couple.

Hi Travis 😊. You are such an inspiration and cool guy . Please look into the advances in SPI. This week alone , has been a huge breakthrough. Axon/ neuron research with some stem cells added for flavor . 😊👍🥰♥️🤗🥊
I am a teacher of singing, so I wanted to ask: do you sing? Singing is a very good way to feel better. You can create your own music, and Music as such is beautiful. And singing also very much helps develop and increase Lung power! I recommend it! 😊. If I could answer any questions, I’d be glad to.
I seen one of your other videos and in that one you were walking with something on your legs. Could you buy that and use it? or is that just for rehab?

Hand loss must be the worst thing. I really hope the nerve transfer help you with improved function!
What did you do that caused the injury?
I thought a quadriplegic could not move their arms either??
That's what I thought too.
many people are afraid to ask.....just break the ice by saying hello
Why your body can't regulate the body temperature??
U are awesome.
So how did your accident happen???
I’m a fairly new c5-c6 quad as of march this year. What type of bed do you use?
I use a regular bed but hospital beds are helpful as well just don't let the bed get too comfortable keep moving.💪🏾
It’s a sleep number with an adjustable base.
