Impressive voice but to the original is much stronger, this version is just too smooth, too "pretty". It lacks strugling, the rawness of emotions, it lacks meaning

I agree completely. After watching several of her performances I've noticed this trend. She has a nice voice with a tone that would actually be great for stage musicals (a bit ironic considering stage musicals actually require a great deal of vocal emotion and body language- far more than a recording/studio artist). She has the body language, but her vocals don't always feel appropriate for the song. The emotion is frequently lacking.
