On second viewing the point of provocation was at *11:06* when the PC suggested the filmmaker was the antagonist. The small group of onlookers saw that the balance of power was leaning towards them and that the PC was isolating the cameraman. They moved like stringers back through the crowd and generated a mob knowing the cops would support them. There was no doubt that the police knew that the cameraman was the subject of abuse from the guy on the tannoy because when he said "you filming with the camera..." the policeman looked behind to see who was being referenced. The subsequent escalation to the point where the police supported the mob to kettle the cameraman...effectively deputising them to deploy police tactics against a citizen that THEY should be protecting...is a disturbing and sinister abuse of power.
The way the police just protected those out of control kids and tried to pretend it was you in the wrong was pure gaslighting, and it started so well, everyone having a good time dancing and enjoying themselves, then immediately paranoid that someone was filming them. You should get yourself to Speakers Corner when Let Women Speak events happen - plenty of footage of police captured by ideology and doing nothing. Just today someone filmed about 6 officers walking away while women were being harassed in the street by the unhinged.

You can swear, offend, assault someone, call for the death of someone, use horrible slurs and the police will stand and LET YOU DO IT. But god forbid anyone else dares to even look at one one of them in the wrong way, then 5 police will surround you and have you arrested for "hurting feelings".

Love the woman from Edinburgh at the end when you're all "can you believe what just happened here?". In fact if you compare this to what happened in New Zealand a couple of days ago this was the "nice" version. At trial, she was told by the judge to refer to her male attacker as if he was female.
