The leap from PS2 to PS3 was something else, i doubt we will ever witness such a huge leap in graphical improvements ever again.

@@juanelgamer4569 Yeah, i know that, i own a PSP myself. But point still stand though, PSP was basically just a downgraded PS2.
no never, we have reached a graphic level that is almost imperceptible to see such abysmal differences in terms of details in textures, lighting, etc.
PS1 to PS2 was also ridiculous. Just compare Silent Hill 1 to Silent Hill 2
@@danin900 Yeah i know, the differences between two generation of consoles were significant back then, PS1 and PS2 were just 5 years apart which is unbelievable too.
PS3 was also way ahead of it's time that not until atleast 2010 and later (which is 3 years after it released) that they managed to push it to it's limit with newer games, any game released before that is a cake walk for the PS3.
GOW3’s textures are so good. Hard to believe it came out on the PS3.
That's why it's on ps4 and ps5 it still holds up

I liked the blades movements in 3 over Ascension. In Ascension the chains and blades seemed less lit up or powerful and there was that weird white glow and reflective/translucent waves coming off of them like vibrations. Didn't like that affect. Love the character textures though and surroundings.

People always talk about how good GoW 3 looks for a PS3 game but man... Look at Gow 2. It's insane that a PS2 can actually run that.

Es verdad porque la diferencia de ps3 a ps2 por ejemplo es que tiene mayor iluminación y un poco mejor las caras porque no fue igual que ps1 y ps2 porque los juegos de ps1 ni siquiera se entendían las caras en cambio en ps2 ya se entendían las caras y todo y la diferencia de ps2 a ps3 fue la iluminación más mss nitidez y un poco las caras para mi siempre será el salto de p1 a ps2

When i say they should make a remake of the old God of War games, its basically amping the graphics like this. Make it GoW3 graphics. Keep everything there. Maybe even make them longer by adding the deleted levels, but at least amp the graphics.

O gow 2 tem mais efeitos nos golpes, movimentos e nos golpes especiais, a câmera até treme quando vem um golpe mais poderoso. Já no gow 3 os gráficos são mais realistas e e possuem mais detalhes, mas mesmo assim eu prefiro o gow 2.
La cámara también tiembla en Gow 3, supongo que es un error del emulador tal vez? También tiembla con los guanteletes de Heracles, con el tornado de la Espada del Olimpo y con bastantes más cosas

@@luberius Yeah, the patches get rid of the color grading on magic also gets rid of screen shake. Disable the patches and it comes back.
god of war 2's BOC's heavy attack's slam/impact was better than gow3's IMO
I was impressed by the detailing of wing attacks in god of war 2 . I mean , you could literally feel the vibration there .

Por ejemplo cuando matabas a enemigos convertidos en piedra en GOW 2 el mando tenia vibraciones con cada golpe hasta romperlos, eso te permitia sentir los ataques. Mientras que en GOW3 no pasa nada, es como darle al aire y romperse de la nada.

A mí por ejemplo no me gusta tener vibración en el mando, es a gusto de cada quien, para mi GOW 2 es el mejor de la saga, pero se tiene que reconocer es que GOW 3 ha envejecido bien a nivel gráfico ya que se ve mucho mejor me juegos actuales
@@pablolg6965 No solo en la vibración amigo, también en el sonido de varios enemigos convertidos en piedra y al tratar de matarlos con el Mazo Bárbaro se siente y se escucha diferente en cada golpe tanto para enemigos fuertes y débiles. Mientras que en GOW3 es bueno pero al matarlos de esa manera no hay esa misma sensación de fuerza.

I played tons of GoW, same combos, different magic with the same mechanics, some replaced, some revised.

Both are masterpieces, both are Classic Greek games anyway. the true era of GOW (2005-2013). as of 2018, God of War became Soy of War, they emasculated Kratos and made it a romantic babysitting woke game for nerds and karens hahah what a shame :D
