I think the problem with "this should be in the base game" is where do we draw the line? If something like Life and Death should be in the Base Game, then what exactly constitutes being an Expansion Pack? Because not having EPs is unrealistic. They've existed since the very first game back in the year 2000, they're not going to stop now. The idea is to give an experience and not every player is going to want to have Life and Death stuff in their game. The only thing I think should be base game from this pack are cemeteries/graveyards. I also wouldn't mind some sort of base game version of funerals that aren't as elaborate. Only because we have base game weddings without MWS.

Do they know that would come with some sort of micro transactions though? Someone brought up Roblox! Sims 4 looks better than Roblox!

Too much to react to, I'm excited about the pack and have already pre-ordered using your code!! I haven't read up on everything yet, so this video was on point. This pack is adding a lot of things I didn't know I wanted. lol. I'll finally let some Sims age up and die, I agree that it felt anticlimactic, so I tend to avoid it. I also like that the collection of tarot cards has a payoff at the end. I was initially bummed to hear it was a collectible. I had already added it to my storyline in my mind. Can't leave without saying.... not you calling out the negativity! And handling it like a Queen 💜💜💜💜

Yes, we definitely need a party planning system. I was just thinking that the party kit should have been a game pack. Could have gotten an event planner career. Set activities for parties, like recive gifts, which can affect relationships. We could have got surprise parties and retirement parties. We can plan concerts for musicians and d.j. sims. Plan art shows. The career could work kind of like the interior design career. We could plan our own events as well. Kids' parties could hire clowns or cosplayers. One could only dream.
I think maybe the portal (TFx3 😁) is for this part of the reaper career description? “Once retrieved, souls can be placed in the Netherworld Portal to meet the soul quota. Grimterns who meet the soul quota are eligible to become Employee of the Month."
I'm SO excited for this pack!!! There's so much going on that its hard to take it all in; i really appreciate your deep dive to pull all this info! Honestly, aside from more substantive interactions with Grim and a cemetery lot type, most of these features are ones i didn't know i wanted but now im very impatiently waiting for the end of the month drop! And thank you for addressing all the negativity. Seriously, EA is a large corporation and we're a capitalist society... we're lucky we've ever gotten anything for free... And if they don't want to support EA, then just move on to another game and quit raining on everyone else's parade.

Hi CSHELL. We can already make fake graveyards in the base game if you use debug, and we can also make real ones when Sims Die in game. But with this pack hopefully they will give us more things in the base game update. 🤞🏾
I just wanted to say, I’m not familiar with your channel, I’m a first time listener, but your explanation about this pack was a breath of fresh air! I’ve listened to a few youtubers and no one has given me the information you have! I will say, though, something struck me as odd - you said you’re not an occult girl, but later when they spoke about tarot cards, you said it was right up your alley and that you’re a witchy girl! A lot of people would consider tarot part of the occult 🙃🤷♀️ I’m a pagan and a spiritualist and that’s why I say, not trying to knock you, but most tarot is either from 1) Source/Spirit/God 2) your own intuition 3) ancestors so if you do tarot for any of those reasons, I do consider them occult concepts! A Christian tarot reader may not, if they call upon Christian god, they may not consider it occult but if anyone else did it for the other reasons, they’d consider THEM occult practitioners (so calling on Source or other gods, for instance) so IDK if you’re a Christian tarot reader and maybe we can agree to disagree, maybe to you, it’s not “occult” if it’s from the Abrahamic God? But to me, Tarot is occult, and witchcraft of any kind is DEFINITELY occult, that is literally what occult is 😅 just hit the ear kind of funny, no judgement! You might mean “occult” as in types of characters in video games, it only just occurred to me as I’m typing this 🤣🤷♀️ like Zombies or something! But we all love a good paradox, right? You did an amazing job on this video and got me through hair wash day with a few laughs, and I walked away with a better understanding of what this pack offers so thank you! My impression from the blog post (from reading it a few days ago, so I might be remembering incorrectly) was that there will be a lot similar to the Realm of Magic lot for the reaper career...not sure it'll be as big or elaborate but I thought we got a glimpse of that in the countdown scene before the trailer and have assumed that the portal-type thing (TF x3??? screenshot 😂) would be how you can travel to the reaper career lot in "off hours" when you're not actively working. But it's mostly speculation based on how I read the blog/saw the trailer so 🤷🏻♀️
