ahhh, I had a copy of Small Fires from the library but it had to go back so I could prioritise Booker reading 🔥🕯️ I love to cook Burmese Red Chicken, it’s all done on the hob in a soy/sesame/rice wine vinegar stock and finished off under the grill to make the skin super crispy. perfect with some thin pancakes, cucumber and spring onion! my preorder of North Woods by Daniel Mason is due to arrive in September and I’m so excited for it! looks like it will be the perfect choice for spooky season 🎃💀 hope the first day of your new job went OK! xxxxxx

I didn’t have a recipe so have no idea what I was thinking and it was RANK 😂🤢😂🤢😂 National Dish sounds really good. A September book I am excited for is Land Of Milk & Honey by C Pam Zhang. Always love these vids as you often pick books I haven’t heard of 🤩

When I first started working at a supermarket (the one with obnoxiously neon green polo shirts 😉) I read "The Checkout Girl: My Life on the Supermarket Conveyor Belt" by Tazeen Ahmad. It's a nonfiction book about her year or so working in UK retail during the 2008 credit crunch. Felt so relatable and hilarious :o)
Lynn here on Hubby's phone mines playing up 😏, Hi I can cook most things , however there is two things I'm not very good with , most people would probably think their basic and to be fair I have cooked a lot more complicated things with success, however Yorkshire puddings and scrambled eggs get me everytime ( even tho I'm from Yorkshire 😂 ) , the puddings never rise and my scrambled eggs will not go fluffy like I like to have them , so after Fifty something years of trying , I give up 😏, see you in the next one 😊, Oh Im reading The Lost Bookshop , might I ask , have you read it ? I'm only on page twenty , but up to now I'm not getting it , could you tell me what you think ? If you've read it , Thanks Take Care ❤
