    I'm in Spain too and do glass. Can I buy supplies from you?

      Hi Valerie nice to hear from a fellow expat. I just buy mine online for personal use, I dont supply unfortunately. Shipping is a bit more affordable nowadays from glass suppliers which is a blessing. :)

      Well with Brexit and international shipping I find it expensive! Do you buy from Spain or UK?

    • @ArtsandCraftsTI

      I have always found it expensive in Spain so I buy from warm glass in the UK. their shipping rates are £0.95 - Orders under 50g,
      £3.95 - Orders under 500g, £7.95 - Orders under 2kg which I didnt think was too bad. I guess it depends how much glass you want. Because I only make pendants I use very little glass so it lasts me ages. I also order when friends are coming over and ask them to bring it. I dont even mind if it gets broken in transit because I break a lot of my glass anyway and work with little pieces. :)

      Yes that's not too bad. If you order small then maybe it'll get past customs. I was in California actually so I had hundreds of suppliers. Thank you for your answers.😊

      Hi Karen. It looks like AAE glass dont have them anymore. I found these which you might find useful www.livemoor.co.uk/products/armour-etch-over-n-over-re-usable-etching-stencils-various-types?variant=32180099874904 Hope it helps:)

    Did you full fuse or polish fuse all of these please?

    • @ArtsandCraftsTI
      @ArtsandCraftsTI  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I full fused them with the exception of the enamel one which the fusing schedule is in the description. If you grind them after full fuse like I did with the butterfly then you only need to fire polish after grinding :)

    Instead of the stickers, could you glue down a stencil?

    • @ArtsandCraftsTI
      @ArtsandCraftsTI  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you could get the glue right to the edges of the stencil around the shapes then its worth a try. You can always wipe off if not successful and try again without much waste. :)

    Fantastic! Do you think this could work also is a microwave kiln??

    • @ArtsandCraftsTI
      @ArtsandCraftsTI  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Shay. Thank you for your comments. The technique should work in a mwk . Obviously the main issue is firing to full fuse in a mwk without the piece breaking. Maybe try a really small one first, or if you are experienced with mwk then you shouldnt have any problems. The exception being the enamel one probably wont keep the metallic shine because there is less control of temperature in a mwk. :)
