You have such a beautiful relationship and such a positive channel don't waste energy on people who clearly are not happy with themselves. 1. Kimmy you are beautiful with or with out the wig inside and out. Your face and smile alone speaks volumes. 2. Wigs, weaves braids etc are worn to switch up the look and because its convenient - natural hair takes long to do sometimes especially on wash days ...if you know you know shrinkage is real! 3.Neither of you don't see colour you only see each other and that's all that matters. Some people will always have something to say because they have never experienced love or true friendships so are obviously going to be bitter, jealous and full of hate! Keep shining that positive light as i have a lot of time for that and enjoy seeing how you both bounce off each other .

I am really Sad for those women who have no idea of black hair history. I for one i am a kikuyu and in my family, i can see my great great grandmother's hair from photos and she had twisted hair which was done using dyed sisal ropes or something like that. Addition of stuff to our hair is not a matter of white influence...i love my country Kenya 🇰🇪 because we have proof...look at the Turkana girls who have little to no influence of the white people and you can see that their hair styles have no influence to the white people and they rock their hair with additions of braids...Us having long braids, or weaves or straight hair have very little influence to the white people. To each is own some women wear wigs or weaves because this is what they like and as we reach different stages or age in our lives our perception of how we see our selves does change. At one time women of color was judged by European standards of what beauty is so now we know that was a lie from the pit of hell. I'm a senior woman and have been thru each of those stages but now I wear my natural hair and with pride and I wouldn't change for anyone or any beauty standard today. It's no different when we start turning gray we tend too hurry and color it, most of my hair is gray with some black hair seen and wouldn't change a thing, though I have a young looking face I will not change a strand of my hair coloring. It's all in how u see yourself and if your husband, boyfriend, wife or girlfriend loves u the way u are that's even better. U too keep loving each other and growing together because as we age we do change but our love for each other will grow deeper, why because it's not superficial it's real.

To each is own some women wear wigs or weaves because this is what they like and as we reach different stages or age in our lives our perception of how we see our selves does change. At one time women of color was judged by European standards of what beauty is so now we know that was a lie from the pit of hell. I'm a senior woman and have been thru each of those stages but now I wear my natural hair and with pride and I wouldn't change for anyone or any beauty standard today. It's no different when we start turning gray we tend too hurry and color it, most of my hair is gray with some black hair seen and wouldn't change a thing, though I have a young looking face I will not change a strand of my hair coloring. It's all in how u see yourself and if your husband, boyfriend, wife or girlfriend loves u the way u are that's even better. U too keep loving each other and growing together because as we age we do change but our love for each other will grow deeper, why because it's not superficial it's real.
