He is so knowledgeable in the history of Lees Ferry, all the sights along the river, building of Glen Dam, and as a big bonus, he knows just where the fish are hiding...fly fishing and spin fishing. You don't need to have anything but your fishing license.

    in the mid 70s thru mid 80s my family would go there several times a year, the fishing was fantastic, we caught toad trout, my mom caught a 33 in, 12 lb rainbow, our biggest brook was over 5 lb, german brown over 10lb, increased folw out of glen canyon, destroyed the native vegetation, the trout back then thrived on the freshwater shrimp that lived in the moss, its was unbelievable fishing, back then the only store was about 50 yrds from the boat launch, a bait shop about the size of half a circle k

    That brown is 20-22” tops not even close to 27” lol

      That was no where near 27in but I’ve seen 32 in trout come out of there

    He left me high and dry on Monday this week. He will not return my calls as to why. He looks to me as this point as a flake. Don’t book with him.

      You have to kill the browns on the Colorado because they eat the humpback chubs
