Hero MotoCorp is one of the biggest motorcycle manufacturers in India and the South Asian region. Hero has been ruling the commuter segment of motorcycles in Bangladesh for quite some time. The Hero Hunk (previously Hero Honda Hunk) is a very special bike to most people of Bangladesh due to its muscular design. HERO does business in Bangladesh through Niloy Hero Bangladesh Limited. Since the split with Honda Motors, Hero has been trying to hit the commuter segment and not focus much on the sports segment, but the Hero Thriller 160R is their redemption.
The Hero Thriller 160R is a 160cc naked sportbike. The bike has technology-filled to compensate for the absence of Hero over the last few years. The Hero comes with single-channel ABS, LED light setup, great handlebar geometry, and extremely sporty exhaust. The overall design factor of the bike will make the riders have butterflies in their stomach.
The Hero Thriller 160R comes with a full LED light setup. The headlight has a dual step LED setup, which may not have the best projection, but is expected to be quite enough for the long haul. The LED taillight has a very minimalistic but noticeable design. The indicators of the bike are quite minimalistic and good-looking. The light setup makes the bike all the more attractive.
The Hero Thriller 160R comes with a 7-step adjustable rear suspension. The pre-load rear suspension will give the rider utmost comfort. The bike also comes with fuel injection, which allows the bike to has a smooth engine and good fuel economy.
The bike comes in three different colors. They are:

The bike has a very clean look with almost no decals at all.
Physical Attributes:
The Hero Thriller 160R is a large bike. But it has a seat height of 790mm, which is suitable for riders above 5’3” and below 5’9”, but the riders beyond that height might find it a bit difficult to ride on. The bike also has a ground clearance of 168mm, which is very suitable for Bangladesh. It also has a tank of 12liters, which ensures that the rider doesn’t run out of fuel very often in long rides.
The Hero Thriller 160R has length, width, height, and weight of 2000mm, 765mm, 1080mm, and 148kg respectively. The bike is a bit on the heavier side, which will ensure good stability but will also be very tiring to be in traffic with. The bike has a wheelbase of 1340mm, which is perfect for cornering.
Engine and Transmission:
The Hero Thriller 160R comes with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 2-valve, and 162cc engine. The engine is fuel injected and air-cooled. The engine pumps out around 14.8BHP of power at 8000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6500rpm. Due to the fuel injection, the bike is expected to be quite efficient. It is expected to have an economy of around 42kmpl combined.
The Hero Thriller 160R has a wet multi-plate clutch system. It has a 5-speed gearbox, which is not ideal for a 160cc bike but can be accepted. The bike is expected to have a top speed of around 125-130kmph.
Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
The Hero Thriller 160R has both a dual disc variant and a drum variant brake setup. The front disc is 276mm and the rear has a 220mm disc or a 130mm drum. The front brake has an ABS, which is a great addition for a bike of this price. The rear brake of the bike comes in two different variants, but it can be expected that the disc will perform better than the drum.
The Hero Thriller 160R has alloy wheels. The front and rear wheels have 100/80, and 130/70 tires respectively. The front tire is perfect for the bike. However, the rear tire would have been better and performed at the top of its class if it was 140 sections. The overall tire setup may not be perfect, but it is enough.
The Hero Thriller 160R is a great bike, but like every great bike, it also has its advantages and drawbacks.

যারা বাইক নিয়ে বেশি ঘাটাঘাটি করে, ভালো বুঝে শুধু তারাই সব দিক বিবেচনা করে হিরো থ্রিলার ক্রয় করছে। কিন্তু FZS users এর ৮০ শতাংশ ব্যক্তি না বুঝে অন্যের দেখাদেখি FZS ক্রয় করে ইউজ করতেছে। শুনতে তেতো হলেও এটাই বাস্তব কথা।

থ্রিলারের ডিজাইনটা বেশ উদ্ভট। প্রথম দেখাতে কখনোই মনে হয়না, "বাহ সুন্দর তো!" এই প্রথম বিরক্তিটা কখনোই যায়না।

Hero মোটর সাইকেল এর নাম শুনলেই এখন মানুষের এলার্জি হয়ে যায়। বিক্রি করার সময় ভালো মূল্য পাওয়া যায় না। বাপ চাচার আমলের Hero মোটর সাইকেল এবং বর্তমান সময়ের Hero অনেক তফাত রয়েছে।

অসাধারণ একটি বাইক আমি একটা কিনেছি। অনেক বাইক চালিয়েছি কিন্তু এটার মতো স্মুথ আর কম্ফর্ট কোন বাইকে হয় না। এফ জেড, পালচার সব চালিয়েছি। এই বাইকটা লোকটা একটু অন্যরকম কিন্তু সরাসরি এতটাই খারাপ লাগে না

বাংলাদেশের মানুষ বেশিরভাগ বাইক কিনে নিজের এবং ফ্যামিলি পারপাসের জন্য, হিরো থ্রিলার বাইক আমি না কেনার কারণ পিছনের সিট অনেক ছোট এবং গিয়ার ইন্ডিকেটর নেই,নয়তোবা আমার প্রথম পছন্দ ছিল হিরো থ্রিলার,কিন্তু এখন আমি হোন্ডা এক্স ব্লেড নেওয়ার চিন্তাভাবনা করছি সবকিছু মিলিয়ে এক্স ব্লেড একটি ফ্যামিলি বাইক। ধন্যবাদ রিকু ভাই সুন্দর উপস্থাপনের জন্য।

এইটা অপছন্দ করার অন্যতম কারণ এর ট্যাংক এর সেইপ আর বিশেষ কোন কারণ নাই, ইঞ্জিনের পাওয়ার ঠিক আছে কিন্তু সমস্যা ট্যাংক এর সেইপ তাই কম বয়স্করা কিনতে চায়না।

একদম মনের কথা বলছেন ভাই,আমি সহমত, থ্রিলারে ন্যাকেড লুক দিয়েছে,সমস্যা নাই,তবে লুক টা যদি সুজুকি জিক্সার বা পালসার এর মত শার্প হতো তাহলে অনেক ভালো লাগতো

তবে ভাই থ্রিলার দিয়ে আমি এখন যেভাবে কর্নারিং করে কনফিডেন্স পাই এর আগে কোন বাইকে এমন কনফিডেন্স পাইনি। এক কথায় অসাধারণ ব্রেকিং এবং কর্নারিং হয় যেটায় আমি মুগ্ধ। আইডির নাম দেখে ভুল বুঝবেন না এটা আমার বোনের আইডি
