@@N3mdraz That card from Wailing Caverns that changes all the cards you draw to cost health instead of mana. It was completely bonkers with Plot Twist into Mal'Ganis. You could literally play your entire deck in one turn.
I respectfully disagree of Popular Pixie- I see its point that you either *can* use it for tempo, reducing your hero power to 0 cost, or choose to use it for value of a sort by letting you double-up your hero power that turn. The later mode is presumably for the late-game in a dedicated Hero Power Druid deck, where you're having trouble using all your mana that turn, so Popular Pixie lets you spend 6 total mana to gain like, 10 attack and 10 armor, at the ceiling, more like 6 or 8 realistically. Still a lot though, and a mana sink with other uses early on in the game has some value. I don't think the card is an all-star or anything, but I think it has a role. I think there is a deck that wants it.
It’s not that I can’t see any use cases for it - it’s more that you have to play this instead of some other card, and that starts to get difficult to justify
I think its also cool with Abyssal Bassist that it'll lower its cost with Remornia (Can't spell her name but its the warrior legendary that equips as a weapon after attacking)
ETC with svalna gives priests a good finisher against different control no? Your opponent must throw away cards while in the worst case scenario you can skip turns by playing visions for 1, 3, 3, 3 mana (assuming you don't have a different card combination to play)
I think it would have been funny if the art of [Fanboy] had been of a established character but everything else remained the same. Like if it was Brann Bronzebeard of someone holding the fan merch cheering with nothing poitning it out.
Does Fanottem always cost 30? If by some bizarre circumstance you manage to draw him with Holy Wrath, will it deal 30 damage? Or could it deal as much as 60, hypothetically?
Jam Session is the first step on the road to reviving Tri Spell Shaman, now if they would just change keywords on Hex, Jive and Chill Vibes to be specific targets (Enemy Minion, Friendly Minion) I’d be a happy man
The 5 cost 2/2, for warlock, makes even the 3/2 Imp worse, because one of the Fire mage spells you can get is Firelands Portal. Firelands Portal for a Warlock will summon a random 5 cost minion. Guess which minion is in the 5 cost pool now for warlock? Yes, the 2/2. That cast is so bad it's absurd. Edit: also, the 30 cost warlock legendary is even worse because the best card for warlock right now is Symphony of Sins, one of the movements is drawing your highest cost minion and discount it by 6. It has already negative synergy with this legendary because it makes your deck bigger, but also makes the Movement of Greed completely useless. That card is just bad, and it's not only a bad card but it makes your deck worse by putting it in your deck.
Saw it win bunch of games costing 0 with jailer and lifestealing you to the win I wouldnt call it worse than 5 healthcost 2/2 really and symphony of sins is definitely not the best card in warlock rn it feels lackluster and is replacable in many decks
@@frogi3776 in also saw this, in trash legend and above. It's a strategy that doesn't win if the enemy has a hard board clear, like Whirlpool or Soulstealer. Instead of closing out the game you just lose on the spot. But yeah, content creators are loving this card, makes a really cool thumbnail.
@@matheusmterra yeah but thats just the general issue with Jailer rather than that card in particular the matchups that cant clear it are better now due to the lifesteal im not saying this card will be a big meta competitor its just way better than the 2/2 and atleast has use cases that work even if its not consistently
I'm surprised he didn't explain this. ETC's finale gives the opponent a Molten Pick of ROCK card with no mana cost (can't be played) with the text "At the end of the turn, explode for 8 damage! _(Or spend all your mana to give this to the opponent with +2 damage.)_ So it will deal 8 to your opponent if they can't spend their mana, but if they can, it will come back to you. And then if you can't spend your mana, you'll take 10, but if you can, it goes back to them, etc. Presumably you could also make it disappear if your hand is full. Doesn't sound very good.

Firelands Portal can summon any random 5-drop, not just ones from your class. So Mage has an equal chance to get the 2/2 as well.
