For the d rose and crazylight it's not tht the boost is thin it's that it's been compressed and made so dense to prevent it from being unstable so while the boost may not feel as mushy as the ultra boost or pure boost it is still doing its job which is impact protection
Well..they slim it down towards the heel to give more court feel since Adidas makes shoes more for guards & their signature athletes being guards as well. Maybe they don't put in too much cushion on purpose.

Guys if you want to feel the full bounce back of boost, you need to stop wearing already cushioned socks, the absorption of those socks is stopping you from getting that spring back from the boost. I'd recommend any Nike or Adidas socks that have the sweatwicking without the added cushion i.e don't wear these with something like Nike Elites because those socks have cushion on the bottom.
