Damn! I'm 69 years old now, and this sounds great to me. I could almost see Dwight Yoakam doing this in concert. That Tele the lead guy is playing has some real Country character in its sound. I'm kind of stunned and amazed. Listening again to this here in Dec 2022, and I noticed other things going on in that mix. That Les Paul rhythm guitar has that nice, fat bottom sound to contrast that that Tele spank. This song just flat works.

I've desperately been searching for a band that gives me the same feeling listening to the greats of the 70s and 80s and came to no avail. but this band, Kaleo, has satisfied that need for good music in today's world. I am so grateful a passenger of mine (I drive for Uber) told me about this band.
