Ronnie, Again, an excellent video! Thanks! You mentioned the beautiful fall colors. So true! The fall colors are amazing! Tyler and much of East Texas is perhaps the only region in Texas that actually has fall colors! Also, spring-time in Tyler is known for their pink and white dogwoods and if you are lucky, you can also see wisteria that might be growing wild among the pine forests. Another treat that happens in and around Tyler is its springtime wild flowers. During the springtime the highways throughout Tyler and onto Longview are all lined with many beautiful wildflowers, most notably are yellow Tickseed (Coreopsis grandiflora) along with Bluebonnets, and Indian Paint Brushes! It's really a must see! I'd like to point out one thing that you eluded to about international flights. At 12:06 into your video, you mentioned driving the the airport to fly international. I assumed that you were referring to driving to the DFW airport. Well, that is an option, but not the only one. Actually, Tyler Pounds Regional Airport, in Tyler and in Longview, East Texas Regional Airport does have daily shuttle flights to DFW, for international connections. If you’re willing to pay for the cost of a shuttle flight to the Big Airport, it’s worth the headache of driving to the DFW area and then having to pay the high prices for parking. Just a thought!? This is unsolicited, but if anyone is interested in learning more about “flights” that originate from Tyler Pounds Regional Airport or East Texas Regional Airport, each of these airports has very good webpages: >> Tyler Pounds Regional Airport: www.cityoftyler.org/government/departments/airport >> East Texas Regional Airport: flyggg.com/
@@livingintylertexas LOL!!! I don't want you to loose subscribers! Thanks just the same! About the airport info, I have a special place in my heart for both Tyler Pound Field and Longview's, East Texas Regional. I used to work at both of these airports 25 years ago, as a radar and radio tech when I was employed by the FAA. (That makes me feel old!)
I live in Colorado currently, wanting to move to Tyler or Lindale later this year. I am a native Texan and have always said I will live in Tyler area after retirement. Tyler is a great place!
Just subbed! I really appreciate the straight to point video and you pretty much hit the stuff that are important in with our family. Would like to find properties to fix/rehab and hold as rentals. If you are open to helping my wife and I, that would be great. We are visiting Dallas next weekend and the weekend after. We are basically looking into moving to TX in the very near future. Let me know if you are open to the idea. Thanks, Ronnie!
Ok, my hubs and i need you when we buy...we're moving in June to Lindale. He's also from England 🏴 and funny enough i have been pushing him to become a realtor when we move there lol 😆
Are you familiar with land and home building requirements within the city of Tyler and within the Smith County. I have this hope in the next 3-4 years to find a small town in the United States close to nature where I can build a small cottage 800-1,200 sqft. But I know a lot of places have minimum square footage requirements.

Hot take: they play the real football in England! :) don’t let us East Texans tell you otherwise.
Ahah definitely a hot take! I’ll stay neutral on that one, Texans get get easily offended over their football 😉
$2.18 a Gallon, just use rewards!
I thought you lived in Bullard!
