I’ve used this design to clean brass for ammo minus the nails lol my wife and I got a chuckle out of your look and shaking your head and the comment about not towing it on the highway. Because you know that stickers on there cause somebody did and caused a mess all over the highway, LMAO
I have been making tumblers for 24 years now, and found for steel, one of the best media was steel slugs from an iron worker,.... rocks, and grinding discs do nothing... the slugs do not wear down, they will soften the corners on saw cut material and knock off all mill scale..... the last one I made was 3x6 feet , made from a high pressure water heater, it had 3/16" wall thickness.....you could hear it from 2 blocks away...... I put it onto a very big lathe to run it.....we had a 1893 lathe that seldom got used.... it was also great for making new 2x4 lumber look like it was 100 years old...'best wishes ' Paul
"Good penetration"😂 You really should upgrade the tires and haul it down the highway. I saw that mixer at HF the other day and thought about your parts cleaner. I didn't know you actually had the same one. Awesome upgrade! I don't know if you can feel the difference yet, but those Liberty overalls will make you a better welder. 😅
Not to be that guy but I always got a kick out of the warner ladder stickers. The white stick figure was using the ladder correctly, and the black stick figure was falling off the ladder. When i pointed it out to other black fellers they'd get a kick out of it. 😂
Awesome! In my opinion, the Best grinding wheels/flap disks/sanding belts etc. for cost vs speed grinding vs how long they last is Benchmark Abrasives.
Here's an idea it would probably take a lot of them used needle scaler pins cut them in half grind down where you cut it so all of the ends are square and smooth those needle scaler pins are pretty hard and they would probably remove material pretty well it's just an idea
I haven't looked but maybe could buy pins like that...they sell really small ones for rifle reloading tumblers like people use to clean cartridge cases
18:59 In order to move it around easier, maybe stick a trailer ball or pintle hook on it. Then you can tow it around the yard with truck or tow motor! 😂😂😂😂 Sorry i had to..... 👍🏻👌🏻🤔🛠️🔧😂😂
im sure the manufacturer knew someone would take it on a highway journey or that they had complains of ppl using it in that way as if its normal to do so.. so i wont blame them putting the sticker 🤣
Hey CB, I know you're busy but maybe you can help me, I need a new welder & considering a miller 325, do you think I can burn 1/4 rod with that machine? I don't see any guys but you burning that rod. Miller says I can but would rather here from someone who does it. I know you have that 400 Lincoln you use, anyway thank you in advance
I burn 1/4" jet with my 15 year old Miller Trailblazer 302's so I gotta assume that the new 325 will do it but I've never welded with a 325 so I can't say anymore than that. I bought my 2nd Trailblazer 302 because I saw how Miller built the new 325's when they first came out and I realized that they flipped the machine around backwards in the cabinet. That means if I put a 325 in my Super Service Truck I wouldn't be able to change the oil in it or replace the fuel filter because it would be against the front of the truck bed. I realized I'd have to rework my entire setup if I had to buy a new 325 so I bought an extra 302 at that time so I wouldn't have to worry about reworking my entire setup for a long time.
Hey CB......... don't know if you know who TH-camr Tim Pool is, but sounds like he is expanding his physical footprint in WV. He could probably use some welding/Fab help over the next few years. You should drop off a business card and tell him about your YT channel---might lead to some work. Hope you are well.
Unfortunately, there is a reason for putting those warnings on these machines. When you buy a BBQ grill, there is a sticker that says for outdoor use only someone has tried to tow one of these mixers behind their truck.
I wish your statement was false but unfortunately your right...and they gotta put that warning there because if someone thought they could drink those battery contents to get high they would...or they would do it to make themselves sick so that they could file lawsuit against the company to get money they would do that too
Another top notch project the look on you're face about taking on the road was priceless 😂 keep them coming 🪄🏴🇬🇧👍
Glad you enjoyed it
I watched carefully as you cut that circle. You have excellent technique!!!

Yep
That’s slicker than greased snot! Pretty nifty fab-up on the door with the hinge and latch. Good, practical repurpose of a readily available tool.
Ingenius. Looking really good.

I still haven't decided if I like the bib type better than the full overall...I'm finding advantages and disadvantages to both
Simple but BRILLANT !!
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
CB that turned out great.

Nice work.
Thanks
Very clever!
I enjoy watching your videos on my lunch break. Thank you for another great one! 👍
Thank you
I have a vision of a dude in a subcompact car dragging the mixer home behind car. And he’s got it tied to the car with clothes line cord. 😂
LOL!!!
Don't forget about the 23 bags of 80lbs concrete in the front seat either. 😂😂👍🏻👌🏻🧱🤦🏼♂️
Turned out real nice 👍🏻 just need a hinge for the new handles to fold down when you’re done w it 👌🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
They aren't in my way enough to bother putting anymore time into it
Awesome! In my opinion, the Best grinding wheels/flap disks/sanding belts etc. for cost vs speed grinding vs how long they last is Benchmark Abrasives.
I'll check them out
good work..practical solution to scale removal A++++
Many thanks!
Gump you're a god damned genius!
Good job
A good hitch and some double washers on them there wheels and you should be able to tow it 😂 nice fix.
Damn fine job 👍
I gotta make one of these
Yea I'm happy with it so far
Great idea. Well done. You are a getterdun brainiak .
Great idea very smart
I wonder if you chuck a couple shovels of sand in if it would help
Cheers from Nova Scotia
Gonna try that with something like sandblasting media and see what it does
Gostei da ideia amigo muito boa!!!
Lhe desejo saúdee cada vez mais sucesso!!!!

Sorry i had to.....
👍🏻👌🏻🤔🛠️🔧😂😂
by the way, if you ever need to clean a mixer out, one that someone
did not clean the cement.....those nails or ironworker slugs work great.....
Right on
Oh u know u was gonna hook it up to your truck and tow it down the highway lol
Weiler I think or the other way. They come in orange cases with black lids
hell in some countries you might see that being towed down the road behind a motorbike with 6 people on it! 🤣
Your right...LOL!!!
8:38 😮 Priceless!!😅😂😅😂👍🏻👌🏻🤔🥺😬

I searched that name on TH-cam and found him to be a political Podcaster...is that the guy your talking about?
I don't understand
Unfortunately, there is a reason for putting those warnings on these machines. When you buy a BBQ grill, there is a sticker that says for outdoor use only someone has tried to tow one of these mixers behind their truck.
Put some black diamond, coal slag, sandblasting media in with it....
Cool that you mentioned that because I wondered yesterday if adding some like that would make it even more effective....I'll get some and try it
Yea well they also put stickers on car batteries not to drink the contents.
I wish your statement was false but unfortunately your right...and they gotta put that warning there because if someone thought they could drink those battery contents to get high they would...or they would do it to make themselves sick so that they could file lawsuit against the company to get money they would do that too
@@NBSWELDING so true C.B. That's the world we live in now. I went to subway for lunch today. It says "do not eat" on the wrapper lol...
Question ? Could you use broken glass also ?
I've never tried glass but I don't think it would be very good
Free handing the plasma!?!?!?!? 😮
