It could have been two other positions. The position was chosen by Jan Gustafsson and Daniel Naroditsky who commentated the tournament together. Antonio bribing them could however be a possibility (I can say no more on this matter).

Man agadmator, I just want to say thank you for your chess channel. I’m a black guy from the US and growing up, I didn’t have the opportunity to pursue being a grandmaster and strong competitor. But when your videos came across my feed in college, I was very grateful because I didn’t know anyone who had a passion to play except for one kid in high school. Your channel reminds me to play. I was very close to 1700, but fell again. One day I want to really study and still give it a shot!
    Thanks man!

It seems you have over looked the Online Chess world.
I got serious in my early twenties, bough books, hired a Master for lessons, traveled all over New England with a friend who had a car to play in tournaments.
Online Play is free and you can learn a lot there.
" One Day I want to really study...."
      One day never comes.
Invest 100$ in highly rated books that teach positional play , solve 10,000 ( yes ten thousand ) tactical puzzels ( free online ) , and play 15/5 time control games everyday online.
Review your games win or lose afterwards , use engine to see mistakes.
Do this starting Today, not " One Day " because its doable, 1 hour a day & 100 $.
You will quickly grow in strength.
      Best Wishes.
BTW, skin color has nothing to do with a chance to be good at chess.
Strong moves on the board are Strong no matter the color of the hand making them.

That was the bottomline even though Bassem got two Rooks for his Queen his other pieces his light squared Bishop and Rooks were never able to get into the game I was thinking maybe he should’ve sacrificed a pawn to at least activate the Bishop but than he’d have to contend with a passed pawn pretty lopsided game

At 2:45, "you're going to be down a full knight." Does Agad not know what words mean? You're not down a full knight, you have 3 extra pawns for the knight. You're actually not really down any material, certainly not a FULL knight.

Why should black accept the Evan's gambit?
Black always seems to lose the queen in one way or another...
Show me a game where the Evan's gambit "accepted" fails...
Then I may have more confidence to accept the Evan's gambit playing black...

Hello. So, what I want to do with this message is to simply show what the Gospel is. I am not trying to force my belief down people's throats. It's your choice whether you want to accept it. Please read the whole text.
So, a question: Do you think you are a good person? If so, have you ever stolen anything, lied, looked lustfully, watched adult material? All of those are sins and anyone who sinned is not good(on God's standard). You, I and most( most because babies don't sin, and maybe specifically mentally Ill people) purely human beings have violated God's moral law. Since God is just, He can't let sin go just like that.
So is there any hope? Yes, there is. Out of love and mercy, God became a human being, Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a sinless life and finally died on the cross to bear the punishment we deserve, we deserve to be punished because we have sinned.
The reason why blood must be spilled for forgiveness of sins is because the life of the flesh is in the blood, in the Old Testament Jews sacrificed animals for sins but the sacrifice of animals were enough to temporarily cover some sins. (it did not allow forgiveness of sins, unlike Jesus's, it only temporarily covered them). Jesus is the Lamb of God, the ultimate sacrifice for sins which is enough for all sins that have been done, are done and will be done. Jesus was buried and rose again. His resurrection proved that His death was enough to pay our penalty, the penalty for our sins. Jesus paid our penalty and in order to accept the free gift of salvation from God, we must trust in Jesus's spilled Blood, His finished work on the Cross for our Salvation. And then your sins will be forgiven because of what Christ did, you will be saved. See: Romans 3:1 , Romans 3:23 , Romans 5:12 , Romans 6:23 , Romans 5:8-9, Romans 10:9-10 , Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV, John 3:16 KJV, Leviticus 17:11 , Ephesians 1:7 , Colossians 1:20, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 .
